  1. I was in the Gallowgate, you now know a little more.

Agree otherwise, but he shouldn't start ahead of Tiote at the moment. He should
  3. He needs to learn when to release the ball, far too often he'll try to beat one player too many.
  4. He was giving Tiote and Cisse loads of stick and I liked that.

    Papiss Cissé

I thought that he was poor tonight until he scored.
  6. We're far too cautious and too often we've only got one player in the box to aim at, sometimes we've got nobody at all to aim at. Santon ran one ball right to the line and looked up only to see that he had nobody making a run, his ball in was poor and I think that was mainly because of the lack of bodies. He looked and saw nobody and was in two minds about what to do so ended up losing possession.
  7. No, I didn't notice the Russian lass wearing the brown leather jacket and jeans.
  8. I thought Jonas was excellent when he came on, I'm pleased for him because he rarely shines these days and I think a lot of that is down to how he's being asked to play. He just sat in the middle of the field tonight and made some excellent runs and most of his passes found a team mate.
  9. Campbell needs to make more use of his height.

Not at all, I would prefer to be able to say it more often.

    He did nothing wrong tonight.
  12. His long throws are excellent. His distribution in general is very good tbf He was practicing his kicking during the warm up, its all he did.
  13. Didn't you say earlier that he's not good enough to be a starter?
  14. I can't remember him having a worse game for us than tonight.
  15. Marveax was outstanding and it was fitting that he played the pass of the game to win it for us.
  16. Campbell has a brilliant turn of pace, I'd rather see him coming on than Shola, unless it's against the mackems.
  17. The pass for Cisse to score from was the pass of the game and one we'd needed all game.

Bringing on Marveaux was an excellent move which could have been made earlier and Campbell made an impact. Haidara's shown that he's not out of his depth at all in this league so we made 3 good substitutions. Jonas getting another full game is a baffler as he was largely ineffective again and shouldn't have been on the pitch in the 2nd half, he spent more time behind a fullback than in front of one.

If we were in the bottom 3 I have no doubt you would still take a positive from it, that just seems to be the way you are and that's not a fault but it doesn't mean anybody who has a different opinion is wrong. We were as frustrating as hell today and we tried the same thing which failed time after time, we scored a really well taken freekick but it wasn't until Cisse scored in the 92nd minute that we realised that hitting high balls into the box wasn't working and that had little to do with how well Stoke were organised. It was because they had a keeper who was taking everything that came his way and that was abvious from early in the 1st half. Stoke held a good line and we played a game that suited them for far too long. You name 3 missing players, I doubt 2 of them would have made the slightest difference to our game or the result.
  20. Something happened, I missed it and just noticed that Santon was acting strange when going off and looking towards Pardew after he was between him and the dugout. I thought that Santon has said something but can't be sure.
