I'd rather have Martins here than Owen, Martins is younger (arguably)... He is fitter, faster, less composed but he will improve with age and appearances.. He is likely to be linked with moves away if he is a regular starter and happy here.

He's already bought a new back four since he arrived a few months ago, so he's done something that no other Newcastle manager has done since Robson. It will take time to gell etc but it's a start.
