Doesn't help Jonas that no other players have the pace to keep up with him or get ahead of him, so he runs, waits for ages for players to catch up and then it's over anyway. Maybe with some quicker players etc he might look alot better.

Should never have been satisfied with a point, i.e. Barton on for Shola. Should have seen Ranger and LuaLua on from the 60 at least, give the youth a chance, not to mention an injection of pace.

A few more decent games from him and we should offer him a 1/2 year contract extension.

Yes we have, a really top young player. One of the best deals NUFC has done in a very long time, I would have personally offered a straight swap for Taylor, partially because I didn't rate N'Zogbia and partially because I've seen alot of Taylor and I really like him.

It's a fact that Newcastle being relegated would drastically reduce the selling price of the club, it would further reduce the likelyhood of a sale. Therefore, he may be forced in January to strengthen, not because he loves us and our club but for the simple economics behind it. A few million in January will be recouped with a smoother sale, rather than being stuck with the club he is hated at....

I think alot of you are right in saying Carroll should get a start, but I think it should come against Everton, not Chelsea. Play Viduka, he is unfit but is proven in the league and could be very important for us. Maybe take him off after 60 mins or so if he is tiring...

If Faye is out, you could put Beye in central defence. Put Geremi to right back and play Milner in midfield....
