Arsenal- won't sign Maddison as they have Odegaard. City- Yes but that would be indulgent and Pep has said they aren't spending. Chelsea- would throw silly wages at Maddison and I could see them being willing to pay more but would he see them as a good project? Spurs- think they will target other areas, doesn't really suit their system. Liverpool- I think Maddison would be an amazing signing for Liverpool, perhaps an alternate to Bellingham. Man United- They should be looking at him but they have just signed Antony, Casemiro and Eriksen and again there's talk of a lack of funds. In short, if we have done our work, we have as good a chance as any. We'd have to make him our top earner, I suspect.

See if we can unsettle Jarod Bowen while we are on.

Howe has already hinted at strengthening in January. He said something along the lines of having discussion in the coming weeks about a plan for January. As always, we should be trying to clearing a few out; Fraser, Ritchie, Lewis.

I love them all. Don't worry Chris, when you have moved on, the streets will remember your contributions.

Howe: Legend Bruce: Chicken McLegend

If he continues this form, he will be picked for an England squad in the next 12 months.

Our target is 1.5 PPG and we are currently on 2 PPG. We are performing at 25% above our target for 7th.

With regards to Paqueta.... if we as NUFC fans have learned one thing, it's that the fortunes of a player can be massively hindered or helped by the coaching. Paqueta was never a West Ham player.

If we win this, I'm not be entirely convinced that we won't win the league.

I always find it weird when people talk about a stadium expansion or training ground build cost of 40/50m being alot but most clubs would happily spunk that on a player.

This is what I'm here for.

Had wondered about that. Cheers stifler.

We've had blank spaces on the sponsor boards in the stadium for months. Reading between the lines.... its a standard sponsor but we've been waiting for the PL to ratify it. I don't think it will be a shirt or a stadium sponsor but I'd bet my backside that whatever they are paying for sponsorship around the stadium is bigger than any sponsor we have ever had. Is it possible that we have binned off fun88 mid-season because of the world cup break? Unlikely, but worth exploring the idea.

Then play ASM out wide or Murphy?
-
That translation was a bit off mind. What miggy actually said was "Nar I don't give a toss about that daft floppy haired little cunt."
-
Yeah Howe also said that Wilson has trained well. He's blatantly got covid BTW.
-
I think Eddie mentioned wanting Isak back for the start of the mini pre season. Need him to play vs Rayo Vallecano. Even if it's half an hour.
-
Wood can press defenders, ASM won't. Wood can hold up the ball, ASM can't. Wood provides and outball for our defenders, ASM doesn't. ASM is vastly more gifted than Wood but football is much more complex than simply playing your best players.
-
It's entirely against Eddie's philosophy to play ASM out of position, when he could play a legit striker who actually scored last week. He's done it once against Norwich once and IIRC he moved players about during that game. If Wilson is injured he will play Wood and Murphy would be his replacement from the bench. Willock and Longstaff won't be dropped and Joelinton will play so the team will be this: Pope Trippier Schar Botman Burn Bruno Longstaff Willock Miggy Joelinton Wood

He's a proper bellend.
