If Staveley and the Reubens want the club so badly, they will put together their own deal, without the Saudis. Once they own the club, they can worry about Saudi investment later, or not at all. If Staveley (who was happy to go it alone 2 years ago) and the Reubens arent interested without Saudi backing, they might not be the right people for the club anyway. Perhaps there is scenario where the Saudis are the smallest stake holders and therefore it would remove any issue of ownership from the test. My point is, if they want the club, they will do what it takes, or they arent the right people.

All I see is article after article claiming x, y and z without any forthcoming proof. I mean yes, absolutely this deal could have fallen through, as reported, it could have stalled, as reported, it could have been waved through as reported, it could have been hijacked by that U.S fella, it could have been hijacked by martians too. I'm sure that has been part of the speculation and the guessing by now too. What else is there left? It's all been said... by people who havent a clue what is going on. Getting worked up over stories made up by people trying to sell you gossip and speculation is absolutely pointless, whatever side of the positivity scale they are on.

I have no idea what is going on but one thing I do know is that Luke Edward's is an absolute liar. Within the week he will be talking about how the takeover is still likely to go through.
