  1. I know Goslings done nothing at the club so far but i do like the fact he's got rid of the bulk, looks a much better athlete now.
  2. Everton game was a turning point. I can see our players having a sprong in their step against Norwich. Especially as the crowd will be lifted with the return of Hughton. A nice early goal will see us comfortable IMO. Hatem, Cisse and Ba will be too much for them.
  3. It won't be a premier league club that will take him anyway. He will end up in turkey, china, russia or the UAE, where the money is for players of his calibre. Even Liverpool wouldn't pay him 80k a week, with that knee.
  4. The bigger picture is what worries me. What happens if Pardew wants to leave him out again? Problems, that's what. It players like this who Sir Alex would have shipped out at the first opportunity, not because he's talented but because nothing good can come from having attitudes like this in the squad. I really like Demba Ba as a footballer, but I'm starting to think he's a bit of a cunt as a person. IF we can replace him, I'd get rid.
  5. Reallu pleased. Love it when Pards springs pleasant suprises. I would have actually picked Ba over Cisse, on form but don't blame Pardew one bit for going with Cisse, who's the better player IMO.
  6. Yes but there's two types of loan IMO. There's the "your an important player for the future, get some games under your belt" and the "we don't rate you anymore, so we might aswell save on wages". I quite like the look of him but he's barely featured recently and looks to have been leap-frogged by Bigirimana. I hope the reason he hasn't featured is because we knew he was going on loan.
  7. Playing Obertan sounds like Pardew but can't see him shuffling the pack that much. Oddly enough you are more likely to see Obertan on the left IMO.
  8. TBF, he could push Valdes out of their team.
  9. Seen no indication that Pardew will put HBA on the left, although might not be a bad idea with Hibbert there. Trying think like Pards; Harper Perch Taylor Williamson Santon HBA Anita Cabaye Jonas Cisse Ba Only thing I can see changing is Bigirimana coming in for Williamson or Perch and a move around in positions.
  10. Can't see this deal ever happening now to be honest. They look equally as stubborn as us.
  11. "Should", interesting choice of word Rudi? Perhaps Lille "should" have lowered their price.
  12. Not looking foward to this in the slightest. Not because we are a bad side, just because Everton work you so hard. If we have any fault in our game Everton will exploit it, if their tempo is up. I'm glad that little shit Cahill is gone. Fancy us to pick up some form after this game.
  13. Does noone else think that his split with his wife had nothing to do with Speeds death and probably more related to the fact he's a complete cunt. Great player, total bellend.
  14. Its every year with these internationals. The players aren't up to full fitness and the national sides take the piss. Let them have at least 8 games before forcing internationals onto them. Internationals are shit anyway.
  15. They won't even play him man. Oh how much I would love to see him schooled by Colo. Two contrasting pro's if ever I have seen it.
  16. So he will prolly not play again until November? Hammers could end up having two months of him. Ha. Oh Andy, if only you had a time machine... Infact you'd probably still fuck off to Aspers.

    Xisco

Still amuses me that people think they know what people are earning. We can all have decent guess but nobody knows anything really. What did you do, nick his P60?

Where as Pards has turned James Perch into a fans favourite. Pardew might not be everyones cupa but he's a damn better manager than those mentioned above.

    Xisco

Have I missed something? Why are we talking about Xisco all of a sudden? Astonished that he's lasted as long as he has.
  20. Agree with the above posts. Anita has experiance at left back doesn't he? At the very worst its worth the experiment.
  21. If were playing 442, Jonas can't play on the left.
  22. Our set-piece success is nothing to do with the people taking them. As someone said, they are far too predictable. The reason we had some success two years ago, is because we mixed them up. Barton would launch one to the back post or float one in the middle. We also had Carroll and Nolan who were dynamite. We need to work on our routines and come up with something special. Pardew mentioned it in his post match didn't he?
