    Football pet hates

The one that pissed me off against Sweden. They kept calling Kallstrom, Chelstrom. There is no way it is prenounced Chelstrom. It's lazy as fuck IMO.
  3. No chance. I find it ironic that Obertan has so much space for footballing brain.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

It wouldn't be the worst thing if France got knocked out against Spain, which they will.
  5. Don't think it matters what side he plays on TBH. As long as we have someone as capable, on the opposite side.

Can't see this one happening TBH. In fact it wouldn't shock me at all if we didn't end up with Debuchy and De Jong too.

    Other clubs' transfers

I would hate it if our chairman was tweeting transfer news by the way, it just seems so unprofessional. Gold and Sullivan are so cringeworthy. As for Diame, forget your opinion of him as a footballer in a passing Wigan side, that's all change now that he has decided to join West Ham. I can't see him being a success there.
  8. I remember the days we offered 9m for Cisse... Good times

KD's just as bad. Who's the other one? Leffe? He's alright IMO.
  10. That article is a load of bollocks. How does our success in one transfer window, affect our success in another? So clubs are receiving bids from us and saying "newcastle got a bargain last year, there not getting player x on the cheap this year". Clubs will pay as little as possible for players, clubs will try and get as much as they can for their own players, nothings changed. Although we do need to be as secretive as possible because other clubs will shadow our activity.

The Spurs fans that come on here talk shite. I don't think I have ever seen them get an ITK correct.
  12. Final fee will be 5.5, that's my guess. Then he will fly home with Cabs
  13. Positive that the club are seemingly willing to spend some cash again, regardless of Ba's future.
  14. Sounds like we are starting to make our moves.

    Other clubs' transfers

QPR are doing a good job at snapping up surplus, shite, old players. Will end in tears.
  16. Don't think it will take us long.
  17. Is there no other way to make it fair like? Playing at the same time halves the fixtures you can watch, which can't be good for UEFA.
  18. Love football like, missed it for those two weeks without it.
  19. Bet he ends up in the team of the tournament Love him like.
  20. Pulis will be forced to play him and change Stoke's style, unless Owen will have a fit. Lets hope he doesn't mistake Crouch for a horse and try to "mount" him.

Would be quite nice to see AVB having a shit on the touchline, in his trenchcoat again.

    The England Thread

Don't have the same hatred of Carroll that I did six months ago, since he collapsed at SJP. Now I just look at him as a local lad who made a stupid mistake. In terms of England, ill get behind him. When he dons that red shite again, I will rightly mock him again. Think he might just click at this tournament, he could end up being a valuable weapon for England.
  23. How is Kranjcar on the bench? I wish England had someone of his quality on the bench.

According to a few things written on the internet though. Actions speak louder. We will see in time.

Bullocks. He'll never leave for a team where he's behind Riebery and Robben in the pecking order, even if Bayern offers him a bigger salary and CL-football. FFS man Punk, LIKE Bayern, not them specifically. It seems we are ignorant as ever about losing our better players. I don't want Ben Arfa to leave but don't pretend like there is some special bond between him and the club. Not saying there necessarily is, but there could be something like, the whole sticking with him through injury, making him the main man when he's always been in and out of starting line-ups, getting him back into the national team in the process. Not saying he's Shearer, but surely he must be quite attached to the club after all this. Attachment is one thing, rejecting clubs around us in the league etc but him not being tempted by a club in the champions league, willing to triple his wages is another. I'm sure he does like the place, the people, the fans, the club etc..... but then so did Jose Enrique. As for the club sticking by him through injuries, we did the same for Owen, look how that turned out. Ok, it's massively unfair to label him in the same way as them cunts but i think you get the point.
