Gordon seems like he's lost his enthusiasm compared to how he was last season. Just doesn't seem right
-
Trippier may have had some poor games by his standards but you could see the difference he makes to this side with his experience. Good to see Willock back and once we get To Ali back that will hopefully limit the time on the pitch for Longstaffe and Murphy
-
Top two for me behind Arsenal and ahead of City
-
Maybe the rumour about Gordon leaving is true.
-
It's only a few days since Eddie was saying how essential Gordon was to the teams development

I'm sure that there were a few calculated risks taken, starting from buying the club when in a perilous position. Any players you buy are a big risk and so it goes on. Regardless of all of this Amanda and her team have done incredibly well and I can't see them being moved because PIF aren't happy with their performance. I can't help thinking that the court case with the Greek guy could have pushed Amanda into a corner but I'm sure all will be relieved. Regardless, I will be eternally grateful for what they've done here

Fair play it isn't. The whole objective is to limit the ability of clubs to invade the top six
-
How can you not win with a squad like that to choose from
-
In all fairness they played well today and also knocked Liverpool out in the semis

Pope wouldn't settle for being a number 2 and if Ipswich came in for him (the team he supports) it would be a great move for him and them

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

I thought that Tonali would be there -
This stays business is getting worse and really offers very limited information. When is a shot not a shot. High possession percentage does not indicate control of a game
-
I won't be too unhappy to lose this and miss out on European football next season. Next season we'll have Tonali back, bring a couple of new players in, no heavy schedule, get our top players back, avoid the injuries and we could be pushing Man City and qualifying for Champions League
-
Gordon's goal was terrific as was the cross from Murphy. I've watched it a few times and I don't think that Murphy even looked up which is mostly the case. He just hits the cross hoping it finds one of our players which most times it doesn't
-
Would have laid money on Son putting that chance away. It was a deezgrace
-
Man United did well last night but unfortunately for them Arsenals defence were superb and snuffed them out. If they play that well against us and with Fernandez back we will have a job on our hands
-
Man United did okay really and managed to get beat
-
To be honest I'm not too disappointed about the results yesterday. I don't really want us to play in the Europa conference thing because after the highs of last year and playing in the Champions League it would be a bit second rate. It involves a lot of games often against poor quality sides and I think it would be better to concentrate on the PL and maybe domestic cups. I'm not sure that there are big financial rewards either I can't see players being excited about playing in the Conference or players wanting to come here because we are playing in it. The Champions League is a different matter entirely and I'd like to see us focus on becoming a regular top 4 side

Murphy was atrocious, again. A lot of the time he doesn't even look up before he crosses the ball, it's just hit and hope. Really needs to be moved on
-
I remember when Rafa bought him and a lot of the Stoke players were saying how highly they rated him.
-
Where was mad dog today?
-
Southgate wasn't selected because he was good, it was because he was the opposite of big Sam and wouldn't muddy the waters
-
Steve Cooper would be the best choice, the sooner the better and dispose of Southgate
