The only place for the real big money is the Champions League and you can't buy your way into that unless you have a Man City type owner prepared to throw hundreds of millions at it just for fun. The only way we will enjoy seeing the real potential of the club being developed is with a new owner

One of the problems is that what would need to be spent to get us up there with the top 7 or so may possibly cost more than what we'd get back and that is the way MA will look at it. I remember reading something a couple of years ago the in the Europa League you need to get as far as the semi final just to break even. Thought he played well yesterday. Couple of times he passed to Ritchie then started a run looking for the return but it never came. He was given the ball more times by Shelvey during his short time on the pitch than he got from Ritchie the whole game.
