    Alan Pardew

After half time Villa switched from 442 to 4 2 4 and played it long to the front men.. So to counteract that threat Pardew takes off our defensive midfielder, Perch and brings on Ameobi. I'm sorry but I couldn't think of a worse decision. Perhaps Pardew doesn't actually see these other sides switch formations and he just thought, oh well we are 2 up lets go for it bring on a goal every 9 months Shola and we'll batter them. I am losing belief in Pardew by the minute, the new signings looked good but I think that's down to Carr and bugger all to do with Pardew
  2. He was the best full be back we ever had, he was right back and Alan Kennedy was the right back

    Loïc Remy

Reminds me of when Hughton or was it Allerdyce was sacked with MA thinking Harry was in the bag. In the shit again
  4. Steven Taylor (Not Ryan) He'd be very vocal and that's what we need at the back

    Alan Pardew

Pardew."Why don't you sign for us? oh by the way there is a realistic chance we could be relegated" How could anyone refuse??????
  6. Shola should never again be allowed to wear the Newcastle shirt let alone the captains armband. He nothing short of a disgrace, has a lousy scoring record and his attitude is a disgrace
  7. I don't think it's fair to slag off Santon, he's been one of our best players this season, trouble is he's hardly missed a game and is looking a bit jaded. I do not understand for the life of me Pardews team selection. Should have played Santon RB, Ferguson LB, no Shola, Cisse in the middle and Ranger wide. At least he works and can hold the ball up.
  8. Don't forget we have Shola waiting in the wings, can turn in a good performance every 18 months or so
  9. I remember the uproar when Carrol was sold but it turned out good business. The side needs to constantly evolve otherwise it gets stale like we are now. Man U are constantly changing there side, remember the gasps when Beckham, Van Nistalroy, Staam were got rid of in their prime but he was proved to be right. I wonder if Ba would be a success at Chelsea, he's greedy, and wants to be the lone striker and I don't think that will happen. Ashley has done a great job at this club, a job for the long term and we will reap the benefit.
  10. I think it's a case of 'When we lose today'
  11. Holds the ball up better than Shola and I thought he did well last night. The rest were mainly crap. Sameobi just runs with blinkers on, has no vision or awareness and his big brother falls on his arse evertime someone comes within 5 yards. Pardew talks about putting some of them out on loan, he should pt Shola out to graze. I didn't even see a drop of sweat on him last night which is the norm for him
  12. Obertans successful pass rate must be around 3% Atrocious distribution and vision.....terrific work rate but why in the hell does he keep doing his Ronaldo shuffle/ crossover bit? he never beats the defender with it he just gets closed down.
  13. That goal of Cisse........Shola has never ever scored a goal like that in his entire career with us

    Harry Redknapp

Can see why he wanted to stay at Portsmouth rather than come to us. No wonder they went bust This is the same honest guy who released the details of Ba's get out clause to the media
  15. Whats in a name?? we are still NUFC what does it matter. Don't tell me I'm not a true supporter because I'm a born and bred geordie and supported the club fo nearly 60 years. Times change, it's time to move on, we are in a big money business initially due to Sky TV things have changed. To be honest I was very anti Ashley but credit where it's due he has dug the club out of a massive hole left by Freddy Shepherd & Co, we have brought in some geat 'unknown' players and eventually some stability. Time would bew better spent supporting Ashley and taking the blinkers off.
  16. Couldn't care less what the stadium is called, the main priority is the team and that is improving dramatically thanks to Mr Ashley & Co. We are enjoying a nice period of stability, pretty much unheard of with NUFC so lets not spoil it over a little issue like the name. Are we the only club in the football league with a ground called St James Park? are we the only 'Magpies' Get real............
  17. We are becoming one of the best run clubs in the Premiership. No throwing away ludicrous money at big names and egos. It chokes me to say this but I believe Ashley has got it right.
  18. Ashley is a very astute buisness man and will have learned a lot from his previous mistakes at NUFC. The hughton thing is disappointing but, was he the right man long term? I don't think so. I think that unlike before, Ashley will have his man in the bag already, possibly Jol, I hope so. Jol did a fantastic job at Spurs and their football was a pleasure to watch. What knackered that was the DOF bringing in players who Jol didn't want. You may hate Ashley but he is no ones fool, he has a lot of money invested at NUFC and he is not going to risk another relegation
  19. It's all so obvious, it'll be Ashleys favourite son........Alan Smith

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I remeber something I read when City signed De Jong, he was known at his previous club as 'the animal' or some phrase like that. Man City and the player were denying that he was a dirty player. Best I can do is wish the very worst on him
  21. Shola reminds me of of Ronaldinho (not sure of the spelling) after seeing last nights game. They are both lazy Work rate zero Slightest touch and they are on there arse appealing to the ref Ronaldinho can create something out of nothing..........Amebobi can create nothing out of something. I'd be happy to never see him in a NUFC shirt ever again.
  22. With the exception of maybe 3 games this season, we have always looked second best to the opposition and somehow got a result. When Ashley sacked Big Sam he made comments about the style of play under Allardyce wasn't acceptable. I wonder what he thinks of it now, big hoof up the middle from any angle. It is only because the quality of finishing in this league is so poor that we have not conceded goals and we are where we are. Should we get promoted we'll be in for a few hammerings under Hughton with his wonderful vision and tactical know how and we'll be straight back down
  23. The team is a reflection of the manager, boring, no flare, no fucking idea, no confidence and lucky. Yes lucky because it is only because Houghton didn't rock the boat during all the upheaval that he was given the job. No other club on the planet would have wanted him as manager. If we get lucky and get promoted, then he will be cruelly exposed
