We'd have won without Colbeck and I mean with 10 men
-
According to BBC it is unlikely that Rafa will use Atsu or Diame because they are preparing for the ACN
-
When you consider the shit state we were in when he took over I think he has performed a miracle, plus it was some sort of miracle that he came here in the first place. He will build it steadily and solidly like he does with everything

I f Shelvey had played last night he would have been crunched every time he got near the ball the same as they did to Gayle and would maybe have lost his rag and got booked/sent off. That was the SW plan. everyone knows we knock it around quite nicely (but with very little pace) so they closed us down real quick and they also had pace out wide to break quickly, something we don't have in ab.undance
-
If I hadn't seen his name on the team sheet I wouldn't have realised he was playing. Can only pass 5 yards square or backwards, can't tackle without getting booked. I can't believe that Rafa doesn't see the urgent need for a quality midfielder and get someone in immediately. Even if it is someone overpriced it will be cheaper than tumbling down the table and missing out on promotion.

Big Sam will buy him again, right up his street
-
Should never have got rid of Obertan, would be perfect with him spraying his 60yard passes around

Wigan were crap and didn't really look like ever scoring. We created a few chances, scored 2, 3 points and job done. Another step nearer. These are games we used to lose with regularity under Pards so nice to win ugly now and then. Not a great spectacle but that was mainly down to the way Wigan were set up

My brother went to the Villa v Wigan game in midweek and said Wigan were horrendous and the Wigan fans were really pissed off. Played with 5/6 players strung across the back. No doubt they will have to set up different at home.

Where are these 'Highly charged players' in the SPL. I lived up there for 15 years and saw quite a lot of games which were marginally better than pub football. Let's face it if any of us on this forum took over Celtic or Rangers we'd finish first or second. Ridiculous that they only have 10 teams in the division which means the top two get to play the crap teams below 4 times. It's like having 12 points start. Good luck to Cathro, hopefully he's learned a lot with Rafa and seen what not to do with McLaren, hopefully Hearts is just a stepping stone for him

He reminds me a lot of Ameobi, lots of promise but never quite getting there. Also the way he shoots with just a lazy swinging leg with no oomph to it is also what Shola did
-
Really impressed with his performance last night. Much more flare than Dummett
-
At least we can stream it
-
Bad news is Pards is winning..............depressed now
-
If we go up we'll be linked with every player on the planet.
-
A decent championship player. Maybe Pards will buy him next season when Palace are relegated
-
I'm a bundle of nerves already

Penalty incident spoiled a great night. I think Mitro normally takes the penalty when he's playing but I wasn't impressed with the attitude of Ritchie. Grear player but I could imagine him being a nasty little git and could become a bad apple in the dressing room if allowed to. I wonder if that's why Bournemouth let him go?
-
Google him and see all of the problems and issues and lack of commitment etc., that he has had in the past and you can't believe he is the same player. Complete Rafamation
-
He looked like a really good player when he first came and scored a few goals...................then Pardew got him and he went downhill. Rafa is now getting the best out of him and he looks like a different player
-
We aren't going to win every game we play and neither will anybody else. It amazes me how people are so quick to blame the players, Rafas team selection etc . Unfortunately sport isn't like that, we could have put out the same team as against QPR and still lost. Some days things just don't work no matter what you do, just ask Rory McIllroy or any other top sportsman. Unbeatable one day then just an also ran the next with the same amount of effort or even greater effort.
