  1. NUFC finances > Fulham finances NUFC transfer budget > Fulham transfer budget Our stadium=2.5 times the capacity of theirs. We have more, spend more, and have a larget support base than Fulham. By all logic we should be expecting more. It's not as if we're arguing that NUFC deserves better results because of some sort of.... Divine writ or anything. what a load of s*** we spend more so we deserve more. You saying you admire Chelsea or something? I f****** hate the c***s and everything they stand for. Tonight rammed that home for me, totally different feelings during both matches and as for [more fans = bigger club = more deserving], it's just Stevietastic bollocks tbh Mate, I have nothing against you... OK, that's a lie, I think you're a blatant WUM, but that just makes no sense. Of COURSE clubs that spend more deserve more. If spending has no correlation whatsoever with results, than why would clubs spend money at all anyway? the whole point of spending money is to improve. More fans = bigger club because more fans = more money = more spending = improvement. At least that's how it would work in a logical world, which is what makes supporting NUFC so ****ing frustrating. And oh dear me, how does this have anything at all to do with Chelsea? everything you're saying makes perfect sense, he's just trying to wind you up.
  2. Richard Dunne is the white Titus Bramble, fact. He's f****** hopeless That settles it, tbh. I'd definitely have Dunne here now. White Titus Bramble? Hardly. He's had a pretty good season so far
  3. Owen was at his best alongside Heskey! Yes but he had people like Gerrard behind him. We don't really have anyone creative in midfield so for us I think he could do with a creative strike partner
  4. I think Owen and Martins could work but I think Owen's at his best when he plays with a creative, intelligent strike partner (someone like Tevez or Berbatov). They would be able to feed him some great balls through, im not sure Martins is really capable of that (at the moment although he can improva that aspect of his game in the future).

    Solano

Ideally we'll get a new RB and he will be back up. That probabaly won't happen though as Roeder seems to be happy with Carr and Solano. Solano's a decent enough RB for now anyway.
  6. I think he's a good player but he's clearly got an attitude problem. Not sure he's the right sort of striker we need as well.
  7. They also think that Huddlestone is better than Fabregas
  8. Hopefully when Owen comes back he will learn a thing or two about making runs
  9. I agree with that but people also need to remember that definitions of "world class" vary from person to person.
  10. Wish we were after the Gooch tbh. Would be fantastic back there with Taylor I think. He was shockingly bad in the world cup
  11. Some people must not have seen Reo-Coker play this season, he's been an absolute disgrace.
  12. Too true. Unfortunately, he would have no intention of joining our club at this time.

    "United"...

I dunno maybe because there's Man City as well (two Manchester teams). It is annoying though.

    Montella to Fulham?

Dempsey looks like he will suit the premier league. He was impressive in the World Cup, he looked very strong on the ball. I agree that he would definately be worth a shot at 0.5mill, if only for his versatility.

    Montella to Fulham?

I wouldn't be surprised if he does very well for Fulham. Personally, I think Coleman is a good manager who is great at dealing with a limited budget. McBride, Helguson, Elliot, Bocanegra are all decent players and every year people predict Fulham to go down and every year Coleman seems to keep them up. Also, Completely random but I would love to see us go for Volz, he's a solid defender and not bad going forward.
  18. Yeh same, unless either Butt or Emre are fit (I reckon one of them will be)
  19. It's incredible what Chelski have done to Shaun wright phillips.
  20. I was very happy that Roeder played 442 today and not 451. Every time we play 451 against a big team we lose and hopefully this will show Roeder that we're much more likely to come away with something if we have a go at the big teams.
  21. My ratings: Given: 8 - Made some vital saves although he might have done better with Scholes' second Solano: 7 - Calm and composed although gave possesion away cheapy a couple of times Taylor: 8 - Solid Huntington: 6 - Couple of shaky moments but generally did well Edgar: 8 - Great debut out of position Dyer: 7 - Good running and did well to last the 90 minutes Parker: 8 - Tireless effort and released the ball quicker than usual Emre: 6 - Ok defensively but didn't do much going forward Milner: 9 - Gave 110% and scored a terrific goal. A threat going forward and some great tracking back. My MAN OF THE MATCH Sibierski: 7 - Good hold up play against a strong Man Utd defence Martins: 6 - Tried his best but his passing was very suspect Pattison: 7 - Played well in the short time he was on.
  22. Is anyone else surprised about how poorly Julio Baptista is doing? I remember lots of people saying he was made for the Premiership but he hasn't played well in any of Arsenal's matches so far. I know it takes time to adapt but I just can't see it happening with him.
