At the end of the day Pardew, in the eyes of many, fluked his way through a 38 game season to 5th place. It's not impossible for us to fluke our way through 4 or 5 games, especially if it's shit opposition.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I regret going today but it was drab. Also, it might be due to the dross served up on the pitch, but generally the match seems to be an inconvenience for a lot of people who are there. You look around and every fucker is on their phone dicking about, or going for a piss every 20 minutes. Then everybody gets up 5 minutes before half time, and fucks off on 85 minutes. After all that, they must see about 20 minutes of the game, vent their spleen and go back on the piss.

You didn't see any of Ben Arfa's 30 yard smashes. Other than that, a lot of short passing in our own half, get within 40 yards of the goal then either a) afforementioned smashy smashy b) lump into the box for West Ham's giants to comfortably clear

The one time in his life Shola worked hard to win the ball back with a slide tackle and he caused their guy to go down injured...so Shola boots it out of play so he can be treated. HBA was livid with him. Too nice for his own good. Also shit at football.

First half was drab. Second half was slightly better, still didn't look like scoring though. The biggest problem is that there is no movement whatsoever, especially when our creative players have the ball. Pardew might be blameable for a lot of things but it's not his fault professional footballers don't fucking make a move. Gouffran did when he came on, but he needs pairing with someone who can score goals. Debuchy got raped by Matt Jarvis...twice. Worrying. Sammy at least applied himself when he came on, bit of enthusiasm was welcome but by then West Ham had everybody behind the ball. Usual shit from a big Sam team throughout, lots of time wasting, theatricals. Dowd bought it all as well, idiot.
