  1. If they are the only changes does that mean dubravka stays in goal
  2. To be fair, Kelly had the option to stay but KK had told him he wouldn't be starting so Kelly reluctantly decided to move on to play first team football. I wouldn't say the situation is the same as this current goalkeeper scenario, Darlow is our player of the season so far and has done nothing wrong to deserved being dropped.
  3. Willems is a bang average defender and can't be a positive that he can't get a look in at a mid table bundesliga side, we have Lewis out altogether and still had 3 fullbacks on the bench today, we don't need another one. Much more important positions need improving before we put another fullback in the squad
  4. given a thankless task from the manager asking him and his brother to play against Ndidi, Tielemans and Maddison. They both worked there socks off.
  5. Well Ally Mccoist, Robbie Savage, Trevor Sinclair, Carlton Cole, Chris Sutton, Jamie Redknapp all have the same agent as Bruce so make of that what you will. think it's a booking agent not a football agent but i might be wrong. She probably just works with the likes of talksport to get pundits on their shows.
  6. apparently he flew out of Newcastle airport on a private jeg yesterday, if true then he can't have COVID
  7. more a must not lose rather than a must win, want to win it and get the 3 points but at least a draw keeps the gap at 8 points so a point wouldn't be a total disaster.
  8. we all know he's lost the fans ages ago but looking at the body language of some of the players lately, especially ASM, Miggy, Schar it looks like he may be starting to lose the players as well. The daftest thing about him banging on about being a "work in progress" is since the Carabao cup has gone on the back burner till December he's had 5 weeks of no midweek distractions yet despite all that extra time on the training ground we are getting worse all over the pitch, we are a shambles offensively and defensively.
  9. i'm waiting on Inter, Ajax, Benfica and Porto for £122. one of them is nailed on too slip up.
  10. one of the biggest myths in football. Defensive record of Keegans teams were very good.

    Miguel Almirón

i disagree, think he's better as a winger, was a threat today and put over a couple of good crosses, including laying on a sitter for Wilson and he was great down the left when he first came in under Rafa. Also playing him wide you get the defensive cover that ASM didn't give today. Last season away at Wolves he was fantastic, probably one of his best performances not only scoring a good goal but was brilliant in tracking back to nullify the threat of Traore.
  12. i think we'll see plenty of changes, with the short pre-season i think we'll use the game to get game time into players who didn't play on Saturday. Can see us lining up something like this.... DARLOW KRAFTH LASCELLES FERNANDEZ LEWIS HENDRICK LONGSTAFF FRASER ALMIRON RITCHIE WILSON or JOELINTON That should be strong enough to get past Blackburn.
  13. The letter that wasn't a publicity stunt, but they felt the need to publicly announce they sent it? Well yes - you don't engage a leading football law barrister to make legal arguments on your behalf in favour of something - and then when he tells you that releasing copies of letters would undermine his correspondence and their impact rendering the exercise pointless- just ignore him and release it all for a few likes on Twitter. Maybe not but do you agree it's done more damage than good to NUST i wasn't aware it was causing or had caused any damage to NUST. As a member i was perfectly happy with the approach the board took.
  14. travelling to away games could be tricky. I know that the players have to make their own way to any friendly games but i'm presuming hotels will be still closed so no overnight stays and will we be able to fly to games as normal? if subs are social distancing on the bench then a travelling party to an away game will at least 30 people with physios and back room staff and they won't be able to use 1 coach. We could be travelling to away games on 3 coaches in order to comply with social distance guidelines.
  15. I see no reason for it not too. I think Midds has summed it up well. A document of alleged proof from a 3rd party (who likely have political motives) will not be considered enough evidence to prevent a takeover. It would have to have been proven in a court of law. Aside from that, that is assuming the Premier League consider PIF and the Saudi government to be one and the same, they have alluded that they do not. when did they allude to this?
  16. i remember seeing Elvis Broon sing it pre match in Idols and MadMick would play that video most weeks.
  17. Sure I read they do fuck all on Fridays n'al. Lazy bastards. would it matter bearing in mind Staveley and PCP are the ones brokering the deal.

he played right back for most of the game today

    Emil Krafth

i got dogs abuse last week on facebook for saying we had wasted our money buying him, he was a needless signing, he is no better than Yedlin or Manquillo plus is a right back, he seems a steady enough defender but Bruce came out when he got the managers job saying he was playing 3 at the back so why did the club go and buy a player to play right wingback who is really poor going forward and offers no attacking threat or even an outlet down our right hand side.
  22. Never knew that. Who’s the land owner? Civil Service Sports Club. Civil service own Blue Flames, think the training ground and the academy is owned by the club.
  23. That'll change after we beat Spurs on Sunday....
