  1. i would ring the changes at the weekend, depending on fitness I would play.... ELLIOTT JANMAAT MBEMBA SAYLOR DUMMETT TIOTE SHELVEY TOWNSEND DE JONG GINI PEREZ DOUMBIA
  2. you just know that should we fail with the bid and he stays at WBA he will come off the bench for them and score the winner next week at SJP.
  3. may as well just play him in the home games at this rate, anonymous again away from home.
  4. terrible result and awful performance in a game we couldn't really afford to lose, only saving grace is that Norwich, Bournemouth and WBA didn't pick up 3 points and pull further away (I know WBA and Bournemouth picked up a point but would have been disaster for them to get 3)
  5. the lad has virtually been injured for a year so would have been hard to sell him earlier :-)
  6. 1 nil down at half time and playing 3 centre backs, hear that we have made a sub, staggered that we just replace a centre half with another centre half!! bizarre decision.
  7. I keep saying it but we are a much better team with Tiote in it. Now just need him to keep fit and get fully match fit.

    Rolando Aarons

They've played about 5 games between them They literally couldn't be any worse tho Crazy idea, why would you use two natural left sided players on the left side?? Insane! Aye it might turn out horse s*** but when you're staring down the barrel anything is worth a try, they aren't world beaters but adding a bit of width and choice to our attack making us less predictable must be worth a try at least. they are both right footed....
  9. That's not good. Thought he was poor when he came on, Cisse put in a great shift and ran himself into the ground closing down Skrtel and Lovren the Perez came on and should have been the freshest player on the pitch but was just jogging around. That isn't really like Ajoze as he is normally one of the players you can rely on to put a shift in and work for the team. Must admit I didn't see him refuse the handshake.

    Paul Dummett

he was so slow today I thought he was playing in diving boots
  11. another win with him starting....... At a guess I would say out of our last 12 wins he has started in about 70% of them.
  12. seen this earlier on FB There he was just walkin' down the street Singin' Do Wah GiGi, Wijnaldum, Wijnaldoo Crackin' in goals with his head and with his feet Singin' Do Wah GiGi, Wijnaldum, Wijnaldoo He looked good (he looked good) He looked fine (he looked fine) He looked good, He looked fine And I nearly lost my mind Before I knew it he was walkin' next to me Singin' Do Wah GiGi, Wijnaldum, Wijnaldoo Still scoring goals just as natural as can be Singin' Do Wah GiGi, Wijnaldum, Wijnaldoo We walked on (we walked on) To my door (to my door) We walked on to my door And he scored another four Whoa, oh I knew we were fallin' in love Yes I did So I told him all the things I'd been dreaming of Now he's scoring almost every single day Singin' do wah GiGI, Wijnaldum, Wijnaldoo We're so happy and that's how we're gunna stay Singin' do wah GiGi, Wijnaldum, Wijnaldoo Well I'm his (I'm his) And he's mine (he's mine) I'm his, He's mine Up the league we're gunna climb Do Wah GiGi, Wijnaldum, Wijnaldoo Do Wah GiGi, Wijnaldum, Wijnaldoo Do Wah GiGi, Wijnaldum, Wijnaldoo
  13. yeah but in that 2nd half we were battered for 15 mins, they took off their defensive midfielder and we caught them with 3 counter attacks. We have only won 2 games this season, Tiote has started in both and we have banged in 10 goals. Pretty sure due to his injuries he only played about 7 games and lost 3 won 2 and drew 2 (i was told that off someone yesterday so it may be rubbish). He will take probably another 3 games to get fully up to speed and a derby might be a risk but we are a better team with him than without.
  14. Loved his goal today, a proper finish, no messing just head down and smash the ball and burst the net Shearer style.
  15. All these pundits and journalists have been saying for months what a brilliant manager he is but i am yet to see any of them link him with the Liverpool job!
  16. i wouldn't want to wish serious injury on any player but wouldn't mind Aguero and Yaya picking up a knock on Wednesday night in the champions league that keeps them out of a week.
  17. yeah cos the midfield has been sparkling for the last few months when Tiote hasn't played!!
  18. he looks a better player as every game goes by with Anita and Colback plodding around doing sweet FA in the middle of the park, the sooner he get fit (properly match fit) the better cos the team is desperate for him in the middle of the park. For those people who say he's crap, picks up too many bookings etc, well we are a better team with him in it and Colback picks up just as many bookings but at least when Tiote gets one he is nailing an opponent and not just grabbing a shirt!
  19. it was virtually an identical challenge to Sissoko's in the 3rd minute, both just mistimed but not malicious. If the first was a yellow then Mitrovic's challenge should have been yellow as well. Looks like Mitrovic will be a marked man and end up like Tiote as half the yellow cards Cheick gets are a result of his reputation resulting in yellows that other players would get away it.
  20. Be amazed if Kosceilney and Mertesacker both miss out, fully expect both to play.

Agree totally agree, i still like him but he needs a decent run in the team before he gets totally written off for good.
  22. mine came yesterday but i changed seats during the summer and the club have sent the season ticket for my old seat not the new one!
  23. while the 3 new signings look like being the type of quality additions we have been wanting and needing it has to be said that yet again NUFC are having a pretty shambolic pre season. The club new this summer would be a short pre season with the start of the Premier league brought forward due to the Euros next summer but we have had the delay in appointing the new manager/coach, with the knock on event of the transfers coming later then we'd have hoped. Personally knowing we were having a new coach coming in I would have thought we would have got new players in as quick as possible so that they can get intergrated into the team ready for the new season starting and give the maximum time available for the new coach to work with the squad to get his new ideas and way of playing worked out on the training pitch. Then to top it all off we have another strange tour to USA to play games that seem to have been thrown together, not sure if that had anything to do with the original schedule being scrapped but the players have spent thousands of miles travelling to play 2nd rate opposition, totally topped off by the final game being played on a surface deemed unfit for half the players! Now they will be back from USA, probably given a day off to recover from the travelling before 2 days training before our next match. Is it any wonder we pick up injuries? Questions need to be asked about who organised and arranged this pre-season schedule. Luckily we should have our fitness work all done and the "real" pre season can stat this weekend when we get the new players on the pitch and can look to get a starting 11 ready for the 8th August.-

    Chancel Mbemba

If i was the manager i would be on the phone to Liverpool looking at bringing Enrique back, especially if he is available on a free or minimal cost. We need a left back and he would massively improve the team both defensively and attacking.

Not sure if he is ready for first team and i can't see NUFC selling just yet, possibly could be going out on loan at some point this season but with him still currently playing in the Euros the new manager hasn't even seen him kick a ball in training let alone a match yet.
