  1. Not at all, just don't find scapegoating particularly productive for our club or for the team - it certainly didn't work in our last premiership crusade, can't see a reason why it would now Fair enough argument. Wouldn't say he epitomizes what the club stands for though? Blatant WUM Not to be responded to.
  2. Wigan will be fit and pacy, moving the ball slickly all over the pitch which is the first thing you have to match in this league. Sadly Shola showed last Sunday that despite a reasonable touch and strength, pace isnt ever going to be there against the top defenders. Rangers pace, and athletisism should be getting him game time now certainly ahead of Nolan up front who also patently cannot keep up with the pace of top flight football.
  3. How we could have done with him in the relegation season. He would have kept us up, and may just do this year. He needs to be an ever present when fit and certainly not left out or taken off when Nolan is on. (Blackpool & Stoke 6 points thrown away)

    De Jong

We could go down to the park on Sunday morning and find half a dozen people who can do what he does, They would just need their fitness working on. Alas we could not find another Ben Arfa the same way. It makes you want to weep.
  5. A top class footballing defender who would surely get into any side.
  6. The common thread through all the games so far is we are going out and playing with only 10 fit men. Inexcusable when we have good and able fit players in reserve. We have done well to get any results at all with such a self imposed handicap.
  7. I have to disagree. Stoke are a very poor side. Every third pass becomes a hopeful punt that the opposition can snap up possesion from. They will be near the bottom 3 as will Blackpool. We have the players to beat both these sides but poor team selection and formation has thrown away 6 precious points and it is unforgivable.
  8. Which would leave us sitting in 2nd place in the Premier league if this had been done for our last two home games.
  9. Tiote off to accomodate Nolan dropping back, HBA out wide to accomodate Nolan pushed up, Jonas benched to accomodate the above, WTF is going on! Played with 10 men again and fucked up the front and midfield formations just to make sure there was no cohesion, well done NUFC.
  10. We will need a strong ref for this one as the brutish Huth or Shawcross are easily capable of dispensing career threatening injuries to one of our more creative players if they look to be getting on top in this game.
  11. The new ground to be built on Fantasy Island now instead of Stanley Park
  12. Sunderland 6-1 to win at Liverpool Might be worth including that on the accumulator
  13. agreed, potentially our strongest line up, and one which would have comfortably beaten a poor Blackpool two weeks ago leaving us in the top 4.
  14. Knowing our lot we are being built up ready for the crushing dissapointment of a home comeback second half. Hope I'm wrong.
  15. Krul will land one on their penalty spot out of his hands for a route one Carrol goal
