How do you know that he doesn't offset mansion rent under a business he owns? I actually agree with your points, he's come for da monies and opportunities that come with playing for a club in Europe. Isak was and now is much wealthier than Wissa.

Right, Wissa had a club option for that second year.

Agreed, with the caveat that Wissa was near the end of his contract and Isak was near the middle of his. It was obvious Wissa wouldn’t sign an extension and wanted to move regardless if we were in for him. That to me, feels like Wissa completed most of his obligations to Brentford where Isak was agitated by Arsenal in year 2 and went full knacker this past summer. Both shenanigans are childish and if Wissa doesn’t produce, he deserves some smoke coming his way like Isak is getting.

Porto are top of the Liga, they look about as apetizing as a chouriço à bombeiro against Forest here. such as?

My contempt for his stupid face has resurfaced.

That's a pel, he's missed the ball completely.

Owen didn't want to come here and only joined because we offered him a contract clause and he'd get minutes to play for his beloved England. He's a prick. Don't think Wissa is of similar character to Isak at all, who gave off the impression we were a stepping stone in his career. Wissa did his shenanigans because he wanted to come here and play CL football. Hope Wissa does the same too, mate.

Didn't give Andrews much choice, did he? Regardless, still unprofessional to do and I hardly call over two weeks of protest and deleting social media posts "a short strop". He's less ridiculous than Isak, but still silly to do and has set his, possibly our season's back a bit. I'm at the stage where I wanna see the lad on the pitch for us.

If your scenario were to play out, it's hard to get mad at a player we wanted to join us that has obligations to his country. What choice is there but to accept it? He will be exciting for us once he gets going, scored some fantastic goals for Brentford, including the back of our net. You seem to have some animosity towards him, which I get, if you expect players to have a high level of professional conduct. Kinda funny you have joy for Tonali, considering his start to life at NUFC was mired in a betting controversy and year long ban.

He should have kept training with Brentford while requesting a transfer that was apparently "promised" to him. I don't condone his behaviour and he seemed pretty committed to Brentford up until this summer. Overall, I'm excited for him to play for us and the fee Brentford got for him was obviously ridiculous, but Eddie wanted him, he wanted to be here, so let's see what he can do. I can't fault the guy for representing his country, getting that opportunity is rare for a player, just hope he doesn't get injured again while ultimately he returns and helps us have a strong season overall.

I obviously approve of any metaphor using The Wire as it's basis, but this has holes in it like the end of Stringer Bell

Some of the opinions of working relationships in here are horrifying. I can't imagine having to work with some of you.

@Mike how many times has Ian DM'd you for a pass?

Think Wolves will beat them.

These will fade, feel like their last couple promotion years they came out the gates blazing, then go on a run of loses mid ‘seysen’ and tumble down the table. Last year they jammied their way through the playoffs through the same type of play now. Things will go south because we aren’t shit anymore, gifting them points and when your form dips in this league, it can get much uglier than League 1 or the Champo where you have absolute dross to pickup points. They’ll be round the bottom in January and finish anywhere from 16th-19th. Burnley look worse than them, it’s whether or not Leeds, West Ham, Wolves or Brentford are equally as shit the entire season.
