He's a cracking player and really does add so much to our team when he plays. I didn't seem the game last night and i didn't really see how he played, however, on the ITV 'highlights', i saw him make a really good run into the box and have a shot from close range. His finishing's always been shite though. I'd drop Emre (even though i feel he's having a decent season, just an infuriating) for Dyer, as i feel the Parker-Dyer combo will work. Plus, Dyer works really well with Nobby Solano, and with Nobby, you're always guaranteed a decent ball into the box, whereas with Milner - you never know. What the hell was our midfield line-up yesterday? It said on the teamsheet that it was N'Zogbia, Milner, Butt*, Nobby... who played where? Was Zoggy in the centre? I've only ever seen him play shite in the centre... how did he do today? Baring in mind that he's seemed to have lost all ability to cross the ball... The midfield is looking very good all-round now that Dyer is back in the squad. I hope to God that he stays fit. *EDIT

I'm sure he'll be fine.

It wasn't good but i think the criticism is a bit over the top. I think everybody dives at some points, or just goes over the top, the bad thing was - he's crap at diving! He's young and inexperienced as of yet, and i'm sure it will get out of his game. If he doesn't get rid of it, i'm sure the likes of Roeder will drill it out of him.

Was Taylor at right-back then last night?
-
How do you know? did your mate Graeme ring you up and tell you that? Ah that old chesnut. Ahaha, what a laugh. Not. Get a fucking grip.
-
Oh God yeah, he should be ashamed. I mean no one else dives. Yeah he dived, it's not nice, but he didn't get booked and i'm not complaining. He won't do it again.

Good news that he's back, but he won't play.

Spanish club based in Valencia. Or is that not what you were referring to? gay.gif

He's currently parading his thongs at Levante.

Leicester equalise... Villa miss pen.
-
'Like Haway' ...? Mackem Vicky Pollard?
-
Agreed... 2-1 at half time to Villa though.

Reading that after reading the thread - i think too many people are jumping to conclusions. Beckham would never come to us, not even if we were in the Top 3. Never mind Bottom 3.

Can anyone post up the article cos SkySports isn't working for me... Ta. And yeah, i agree with Brummie, he's off to America.

This might just be the time i reckon. I'm gonna put a fiver down on him not getting properly injured (IE miss two games in a row+) again this season. Aye - i'm mad.
-
30,000+, without a doubt. I think for the Levadia game we got 28,000 (still a decent turn-out considering the circumstances), but we won't get any lower than that this season. The fans are just too good.

Cracking article.

Slightly overrated perhaps, as far as the international scene goes. He hasn't had a brilliant start to the season either. But he's world class, absolutely no doubt about it, and is only going to get better. Think what Man Utd will still have with him in six or seven years time?
-
There's absolutely no harm in Luque playing this game, and like Ian says, we can't get much worse as far as results go, so we may aswell play him.
-
I bet Rossi never saw this coming. From Man Utd Carling Cup regular... to Newcastle Carling Cup regular. :| Feel sorry for the lad really.

I've seen Luque start a couple of times upfront, and he's looked poor. Lethargic, incompetent and seemingly without a care in the world. I want to see him on the left-wing! Harper Carr --- Ramage --- Taylor --- Duff Solano --- Parker --- Emre --- Luque Martins --- Rossi Srnicek, Bernard, Moore, Milner, N'Zogbia I think we should go with the backline that has looked our most sturdiest all season long, in any game. I thought Roeder was monumentally stupid to change the backline, and dump Ramage back at left-back (where he is incredibly incompetent) - although it didn't really surprise me. I think Ramage and Taylor have the potential of a very good partnership, providing they play together. With the midfield, i'd like to start Nobby, even though i've been very un-impressed with him so far this season. I just feel that Nobby has the ability to play crap, and then whip in a fantastic cross for Martins to leap up to and bundle into the net. Milner's had a good run of games now, and i'm not really sure whether he's taken his chance or not. Upfront, Rossi's got to get his chance, and Martins needs to kee playing because he needs to score a couple of goals and cancel out this duck which is lengthening.
