Wey you're absolutely right; you can't be certain with the likes of Vinted. I thought those looked pretty genuine; yellowing on the collar/bobbling, but you never know. I get what you're saying but I think we'd have to annihilate our budget in order to replace what Big Joe gives us. He's the most physical, most versatile and arguably the most tactically astute player in the squad. Plus he's 5-10 goals a season on top of everything else he gives us in terms of physicality. It's really important that we keep him imo. No one's gonna make a huge offer for him when his contract situation is vulnerable.

Good to hear. Have said this a thousand times so apologies for the repetition but I swear to God it's that fucking name. There's very much a ceiling to the amount of prestige and gravitas you can achieve when your competition has fecking 'Conference' in its title. I get they don't want to undermine the magnitude of the bigger ticket competitions, but Conference? Really? It's a tautology as well. In this context, a conference is a league; hence 'Football Conference' pre-Vanarama. Stupid, shit name.

To say that it was fundamentally, 100%, unconditionally negative and completely devoid of anything positive is an extreme take. The feeling when their fourth went in was vile, akin to actual trauma. That we immediately roared back and rectified the situation in the time it takes to make a cuppa was canny.

I think that's an incredibly extreme take on that game, like. There were some obvious positives even if they didn't outweigh the negatives overall.
