  1. TBF, they are £800m in the red, and the ticket prices are going up 30% a season, and the mugs have to buy tickets for all cup games whether they can attend or not. And Anderson and Nani have done fuck all between them in the U21s/Copa. And Darren Fletcher is still there. [/bitter blue] mackems.gif Your "hate the reds" rants are always great
  2. fucking hell...I'm a tad pissed, so can't be arsed reading the article. Any fee mentioned? Anyway, can't see anyone stopping them in the league now, at best we'll see a race for 2nd and direct qualification for CL between Chelsea and Liverpool
  3. When are we going to see the "Martins/Owen to Atletico Madrid"-rumors then?
  4. Seems like a mix between angry teenagers and old twisted/bitter losers are a requirement to stay on that forum then, eh... Where's Barton??
  5. Change Edgar (As much LB as Barton is DM, tbh) to Duff/Babayaro/Carr and that's mine. I would never consider playing Duff at left-back again. I went to the Charlton away game and he was awful there. Babayaro could come good not sure. Carr looks even worse at LB. Edgar however, has played well at LB, against Bolton and Man Utd need I remind you of the outstanding performance he put in against United? Knee-jerks and over-reactions IMHO. Yes, he was good in both games, but he lacked positional sense and is not good enough on the ball for a LB, especially not if we're playing 4-3-3
  6. Change Edgar (As much LB as Barton is DM, tbh) to Duff/Babayaro/Carr and that's mine.
  7. Some people would say that 6 starts and 9 sub appearances spread over a couple of seasons was not enough to judge a player on. Some people would argue that he hadn't been given a decent run of games with which to gain consistency and prove himself. Some people might even go as far as to complain that despite only poor to average performances, his lack of games was reason to believe he had been unfairly treat by a manager who discriminated against him. I guess you're not one of those people. mackems.gif
  8. As a LW, where he had to cover last season, he was appalling, down the middle though, he was half-decent. Not nearly good enough, but not nearly as bad as he's made out to be
  9. That's a fucking good scoring record! Justifies a steep pricetag
  10. Fuking hell, they better hope he's good, its that higher than Henry? Good news, MArtins is staying! Just Juve to worry about now. I'm not really worried. The rumour came out over Trezeguet wanting to leave as he fell out with the board over the departure of DD, but he's now signed a new deal. Even so, out of the Country is out of mind for me. Same. Would've hated to see him going to Arsenal. I'd still be very disapointed if he went to Juve, but it would be no where near as bad as Arse. Also, isn't it possible that it has to be a club with European competition, same as with Owen?
  11. Let's hope it was a lot. Probably quite cheap though...
  12. Babayaro. Ramage is the most shit, but he can't be on any significant wage, so he's doing less harm than Babayaro

  16. No wingers in my book... Butt Barton Emre Owen Martins Viduka
  17. I think Dyer value is massively underrated by most posters here. Newcastle Fan said something about £5m. For me, that's no where near enough, we should be looking at getting £8-10m. He's included in the England squad on a regular basis and even gets to play the games, is, age-wise, in his prime and looks to be over his injury-nightmare (credit to Roeder). EDIT: He can even be seen as a very versatile player, being able to play RM, CM, AM and forward, which also increases his value.
