Afonso has been called up for the Brazil team. Never seen him for Heerenveen, but he was way too good for the crap Swedish league. Hard to say how he'd do in any of the top leagues from what I've seen of him.
-
They are, however, also linked with roughly 90% of the players
-
Yes please! For 2m, he'd solve our right-back problem. Young/Nobby is definately enough to cover RB for this season, and when Nobby is getting too old (next year?) we can splash out a bit more as we hopefully have a bigger squad that doesn't need as much strengthening as this year.
-
Carragher is still very ordinary as a full-back. You're right that he's a bit iffy in the transfer market. He spunked piles of cash on rubbish, and then refused to accept that they were rubbish. Good manager, though, with a canny knack of beating ManU. Wouldn't that be enough, doc spec?
-
I reckon he'd fit in a 4-3-3 with Owen and Martins, even though either one of them are used to play as "wingers" in that formation, it could work very well IMO.
-
Not a dig at City either, but I don't think they are "big" (don't want to start the meaningless "who is the biggest club-debate") enough to turn down a manager like Sven.
-
Agreed. We weren't good enough for him a few days ago, the fickle cunt I ain't having this: Bollox Svennis. Don't want you anyway. You wouldn't be happy with Sven??

Is it tomorrow? And what time is kick-off?
-
Martins vs Spurs, easily. Martins vs Talinn second.
-
Fucks me off that i cant see it...
-
We won't be able to have any other teams doing any "behind enemy lines" things here...
-
No Ok, dig this up when you need to....Martins will never be as good as Anelka or Henry but he will become slightly better than Bent. If they both stay his partnership with Owen won't work. He'll never be as good as Henry, not many are. As good as Anelka on his prime I think he could reach. We're better off keeping him than buying Anelka.

What are they feeding you over there? A daily-dosage of fuck off. With meatballs? Haha, you're so very funny

What are they feeding you over there? A daily-dosage of fuck off. And fair enough alex, to each is own, my points still stand though.

IMO, Martins has been "good" this season. Not great, but better than average. We've seen him have terrific games, and we've seen him have terrible games. This is all in a team managed by probably the worst manager in the league and surrounded by under performing players. What is it that says that if the rest of the team was under performing, didn't Martins do the same? I'm fairly sure that Allardyce can improve on Martin's Excellent-Games ratio, witch will make Martins worth a lot more than the £10m we paid for him. And yes, Gemmil, I CAN see this from Sweden.

the window opens at June 1st, yeah?
-
If Owen's release claus is true, we can't afford to sell Martins, not even for silly money.
-
Just put a fucklot of bets on this. Half time, full time, score, first scorer, corners etc...
-
Probably. Chelsea second.

I'll miss it :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( Got my fucking stupid final party with my school this Wednesday.

The reason why I get plonked would probably be because I often state my opinions, but I can never be arsed to write why I like or dislike the player. When I think about, I don't even often write anything in the football forums. See, now I was very close to just deleting all this and just say to myself, "ah, fuck it, that didn't contribute at all."
-
Also, AS9, I didn't even see the Milan - Man U game, so it's got fuck all to do with Kaka.
-
Aye, cause that's the only time he's been shite And no, I'm not going to give you any examples of any other games, because I can't remember. To call that undermining yourself is an understatement. No. That's just me being honest. Why the fuck would I want to remember specific games that Heinze has been shite in? Surely just a very general shiteness would be enough for him being called shite? A shitelot of "shites" in this post like.
