"Final say" gives me nightmares. It's such an old way of thinking about transfers and from the Keegan debacle was always made into this huge thing for Newcastle. "Final say" should always be a collaborative effort.

Haven't we been mostly linked to players from abroad anyway? Just because there are a couple of links to British based players now, I'd hardly call it a British obsession from Howe. We all know that Burn, and probably Target as well, were far from the top of our list in January and were only signed because we failed to get our initial targets.

Don't really want Sarr tbh, hasn't impressed me when I've seen him.

He's been used terribly at Man U mind. He was always at his best when played as a pure right winger. Both England and Man Utd seems to have been obsessed with shoe horning him on the left. His best attributes are his pace and crossing/passing, both of which aren't as useful as a right footed player playing on the left.

Well "tap in merchant" Romano is saying he's on his way soon and medical expected soon. Ando is Romano confirmed?

Doesn't make sense. Surely playing some league 2 shite is better preparation than playing actually good teams? What if they beat us and the players gets sad? -
Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Very worrying -
Looks like we will play shirtless next season

Yet Almiron seems fairly well liked?

Liverpool bought Manés replacement in January. Their best front three now is Salah, Jota, Luis Diaz IMO.

My first ever game at SJP -
What does that quote even mean? Also, why the fuck would you not analyse your warms ups you fat fucking mess? It's a huge part of the game and fitness strongly depends on how well you've warmed up.

All of these are true though

Can see Trippier playing left back

Fair enough, didn't know he had been in England that long.

Feels really good finishing above Palace and Villa like. Palace because, while he has done a good job, Viera seems to have been extremely hyped all season and Villa because of Gerrard and them picking up a couple of players that the media thought we'd be interested in, but I doubt Howe actually wanted.

Wood is home grown? I'm not advocating for Dummett to stay on at all (I don't actually think he will, or at least not be part of the 25 man squad), was just thinking out loud really.

My head can't quite get around how Chelsea, in this state, is worth that much. We even picked up more points than them in the second half of the season, and we only cost about a fifteenth of what they'll go for

I don't follow rugby at all, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy a good world cup or six nations game of rugby like. It's actually a very good sport for a neutral, but their inferiority complex is off the charts. In the pub where I work, every time one of the rugby fans is in when there's football on, they have this weird urge to compare it to their sport. I doubt Darts fans constantly compare their sport to Golf, for example
