Cue someone calling Pardew an idiot for preferring Guthrie over Tiote.
-
After Monday, I don't see how anyone could want Stoke in the league.
-
Sunday night could realistically end up something like this if they drew... http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/7049/tableho.jpg Us second, Sunderland still in the shit...perfect.

Which side does Drenthe play on?
-
Could really do with him on Saturday, but at least it sounds like he'll be fit for City.
-
Can see Jonas being moved to the right for the Everton game now to help Simpson handle Baines and whoever plays on their left wing (Drenthe plays on the right, doesn't he?). Not a disaster, but injuries to first team players are never good. Terrific chance for Marveux to show us what he can do, and I'm happy that he will finally get his chance.

Yep, analysed that within seconds It took you seconds to analyse that? Are you sure you're not the cop from South Park? Running Some Tests

According to the article on the game in Swedish paper Aftonbladet, he's the first player to score a hat trick at the Britannia.

I really don't think one should underestimate the importance of (finally) having some real competition for the places. We've got three class players sitting on the bench, all just waiting for their chance, and every player in that starting eleven knows.

That's Ba in the spotlight, losing his religion

Shit, didn't know that about Gattuso, fucking love him. Dodgy as fuck shit for Cassano too, makes you shit yourself sometimes. Fucking shitloads of shitting swear words in that fucking post like. Hope he's okay.

Which is why the ignore function is completely useless

Sorry for singling you out Sewelly, as me and pretty much everyone else was against his appointment and we thought this would happen as well, but this tickled me as I was scrolling through the first few pages. It just couldn't be further from the truth

Great ball for Ba that Begovic kept out (that looked like studs up, knee-high to me btw), but quiet on the ball apart from that. Ran his arse off though, remember when he misplaced an easy pass in the second half and he just got his head down and sprinted back to repair his mistake.

"You got to look at the big picture. Woodgate, Palacios, Upson, Jerome, Crouch for £18m, I don't think that's bad business." Pulis on Sportsweek yesterday. Sorry, but I do think that's terrible business compared to Ba, Cabaye, Obertan, Santon and Marveux for £10m or whatever they cost. You've signed a bunch of cloggers for way massive money, and thank fuck you got showed up tonight you little twat.

Got a lot of time for Everton tbh, they are constantly up there even though they spend fuck all. Can see a similar type of game as against Spurs, both teams going for it and it being very high tempo and some good football on show. And just like the Spurs game, this could go either way. Pardew will have some difficult choices in the week, especially if Tiote is back. Guthrie was magnificent today, but we all know Tiote is the better player, and we'll need him in a game like this.

One thing I noticed tonight btw, when they lumped it to Crouch, we seemed to be more than happy put one man on putting him under pressure but not actually challenge for the ball (unless it was in our penalty area) so we could win the second ball instead. Very clever move from Pardew, as neither Taylor or Colo would have done well in the air against him.
-
Considering what he did to them last time he played against them, I would love for him to start. Would be harsh as fuck on whoever he replaces though.

Said it in the match thread at half time, can't believe that I can't find a place in the team for one of my favourite players (and not just NUFC-players)
