Should start ahead of Obertan against Spurs. Really nice to see our fringe players doing well, even if it's just in the reserves. Marveux with a brace, Sammy with a goal and Fergie and Gosling with an assist each

Jones has been very good whenever I've seen him this year. But yeah, you've got a point, if you're just going on form, Taylor should probably be in there.

Fuck, was just forgetting about the cunt.

STEALTH AMEOBI! And Shola falling over

The video on nufctv from the paintball is brilliant like, seems to be really good atmosphere in the team.

The protest is pathetic, all a bunch of overreactions from people with nothing better to do. Agree that it was pretty cool though, the atmosphere when both sets of fans started singing after ten minutes of silence was amazing, probably the best I've witnessed. Don't like the bengals though, it's way too dangerous not just not worth the risk.

I'd buy it just to piss Liverpool fans off.

Ben Arfa was "pencilled in" for this game, but he played a week and half earlier

We haven't got that much power, unfortunately

Lose on Saturday and it's got to be close. You'd certainly not be the only one to take a lucky draw to keep agent Bruce there a little while longer.

Even my brother still thinks he's shit, which is embarrassing for him IMO. Can't believe that someone who watches us on a somewhat regular basis (he doesn't watch us anywhere near as much as I do) can have that opinion on him.

Cabaye goes where? Oh shit. Honestly don't know who I'd sub out of Cabaye and Tiote, guess it would depend on the game. Say there's fifteen minutes to go and we concede a goal which means we're now losing a game we were drawing against a non top 6 side, I'm pretty sure Cabaye could do the DM job. It's an option I suppose, or in diamond he could go to the right and play a Barton style right. It's good to have options, can't wait till this jigsaw is complete. Aye, that could probably work as well. In an ideal world, I want both Cabaye and Tiote on for 90 minutes in pretty much all our games, bot excellent players. At the moment though, I'd probably favour Cabaye if I had to chose, though that's probably cause he's new and I'm really liking what I've seen of him

If we're chasing games and want two strikers on the pitch, I think we should bring back the old diamond formation on the midfield, with Ben Arfa in the attacking midfield position.

I try to forget his first six months here tbh, he (and the rest of the team, tbf) was so fucking bad then. Even when he didn't score for us last season, he wasn't anywhere near as bad as that.
-
He'll start on the bench another couple of games anyway though, which will make it easier for Pardew, as he can just bring off the striker who is the least suited to stay on in that game, and won't have to make the decision now when they are both in good form. Quite obviously going to be one of the strikers mind, with us playing 4-2-3-1, which we've done both times he's played for us under Pardew and Pardew has said he'd be wasted on the wing.
-
How many has he scored for them so far?
-
Best is the one that goes for me, even though I quite rate him. Just think that Ba should be more suited to the formation and the style of Ben Arfa, Cabaye and Marveux/Obertan/Jonas. Best would be a very good option from the bench, he's capable of coming on and changing a game.

Probably haven't said it (certainly not on here), but I've thought that myself a few times. Can see him not really being arsed to do more than what is just necessary, which is the complete opposite of the feeling I got from him here, that he wanted to show what he could do and keep proving himself.
