Can't say I'm surprised or anything, and the "no new capital outlay" is as stupid as it was expected. What I don't understand though, is why they have to have such an antagonistic tone in these statements? Like others have said, it reads very much like the "FACT"-statement. Why even come out with anything? As has also been said, they were slowly starting to get the fans back on their side again, why do your best to ruin that? So sick of this bloke now, wish he would just sell us and we can move on.

Villa is going to Barca, isn't he? Can't see Torres going there, coming from Atletico Madrid. Could possibly see them trying to get Rooney if they are willing spend massively.
-
That's fucking retarded. And that is being harsh on actually retarded people. Who are they getting to replace him?
-
Örebro looks a good bet at home to Djurgården. Game is starting now, so you'll have to bet in-play if you want a piece.

Struggling to care at all about the Premier League games today. Wish City would have at least gotten a draw so that fourth place would still be open.
-
Myth that. He just sits in front of the back four and rush in as soon as there's a player near him. Doubt he runs as much as the likes of Jonas or Enrique.

For Bobby....

End of next week, I reckon

Carrick is a class DM, his form this season hasn't been anywhere near as bad as it has been made out to have been. He's most certainly a better option than Parker (who I've always rated, and certainly during his spell with us) and Huddlestone.
-
Unless you actually look at the stats. Rooney has played in 13 of Man United's 14 games they haven't won this season. He's hardly that important? He is still by far their best player, and hasn't got anywhere near the kind of service that Drogba has. Man U look toothless without him on the pitch, since selling Tevez and Ronaldo, they don't really have any other great goalscorer.
-
Don't rate him anyway.

Awesome, Berbashopped. That Hitler one is fucking brilliant

Anyone hear about the death during a game in the Croatian amateur league? The guy suffered a heart attack in the middle of the game and fell down to the ground. The ref thought he took and dive and booked him for cheating. The bloke died on the way to the hospital.

I'm sure Mike Ashley called the Daily Mail and told them how much we've got to spend.
-
Rooney works just as well in a 4-5-1 though, which means the likes of Lampard can be given a free role, which suits him the best.
-
Agree, Assou-Ekotto was terrific and there wasn't much play going on on the right wing. Bellamy should have come off for SWP, with Johnson being the better player of the two, should have switched flank to come up against Kaboul, and then tried attacking down that flank a lot more often.
-
Surely Ireland is too good for us? Would absolutely love to sign him though, class act and a nutter, but in a funny way. djmattis, I'd definitely take Markus Berg
-
Sorry mate, should have warned you about Mjällby. They started off very well, but they've faded quickly. Mind, Trelleborg has been wank before today, but it was one of those games you should have stayed away from. Only Helsingborg was a good bet today, and IMO it looks like Helsingborg and Malmö are the only two you should include in accys at the moment, everyone is beating everyone.
-
Mixed bag for me. Obviously I've enjoyed winning, but at the same time, every win has been more of a relief than joy, there hasn't been that feeling of accomplishment that you should get from a win. As well as this, I haven't been able to follow us as well as I would have in the Premiership. A lot fewer games on tele (we get about 8-9 PL games a week on tele here), and too often I've had to follow on crappy bet365 streams because the channel that's had The Championship also had La Liga, which they prioritised. And then, of course, the highlights have been wank for the non-televised games. Really looking forward to being able to catch almost every game next season.

I reckon Heskey is nailed on to be in the squad personally. He's been a stalwart in the qualification team, not sure I see that changing. Aye, that what's in his favour like.
-
Surely there is no way Heskey will go? He's barely played for Villa (at least from what I've seen) this spring, and when he has, he's hardly been prolific. Can't really argue with Rooney, Crouch, Defoe and Bent, with Walcott going as winger/final back up striker.
-
Rooney, as he is more important for his team than Drogba. Drogba is quite possibly a better player, but he is surrounded by better players than Rooney.

LLO couldn't even spell Polly Pedant. Mick couldn't even spell LLLO.

With a short contract, he's always been vulnerable, and I don't think he has the full support of his players. They didn't look prepared to go the extra mile for him. He got a three and half year contract, is that really considered short for a first contract for a manager? I stand corrected if that's the case, but I'd read somewhere that there was an option to terminate the contract at the end of this season. I've heard that rumour as well, but I think that's all it was; a rumour.
