Aye, this is a big part of why I like him. And the fact that he stayed with us this season, when it's as clear as day that he's way too good for this division. Anyway, Hodgsons worked a miracle with Fulham, to think they looked nailed on relegation when he took over. Didn't see much of the game today, but it must have been -tastic for a Fulham fan.

To be fair to Carroll, he did score a couple of goals at the tail end of last season when he was given a chance under Shearer. Would definitely not write him off as a Premiership striker, I think he can do a job for us there too.
