I agree with Owen, I don't get the move. Winning the Bundesliga isn't something anyone will care or remember. I get he has a chance of winning the CL, that's the only logic behind it for me. If I was him I'd stay put for another year, get closer to the record then goto Man U at the end of season.

That penalty we never got against Arsenal is a good example of this, I was 100% sure it was a pen but that clip Webb discussed where it has them explaining it hit his thigh cleared it up.

Certain he'll also play Lascelles if Schar is out. -

Apparently Howe likes the start groups of positions together that are likely to start. For e.g Playing the first choice defence together in one game, and the first choice midfielder together in the other -
He's looked better than Bruno this pre-season, let's see when he starts playing regular games in the important games.

Looks really good, might be a bit too soon to say this but I wouldn't be surprised if he overtook Targett as backup LB this season.

There is also the argument that if Bruno and Botman had gone straight in they might have just hit the ground running anyway, there seems to be an assumption that giving them time definitely helped them (and it may have) but we'll never know for sure. With Tonali I don't think it's paramount to start him straight away just on the basis we have a lot of cover in that position at the moment. -
Any advantage to be made with how long the refs are going to add on? 9 cards here in the opening Championship game. Could be a good one for cards with the extra time?

Looked bright but very raw. -
Talk about milking it in his video ? "Once again sorry I can't talk about the documentary" x15.

I was in Belgrave the other weekend talking to a Villa fan, telling him how good I thought they'd do this season but inside thinking I hate your lot.

It's hard to see him not starting Anderson after this pre-season, but there's no way he's not starting Joelinton so I've no idea what he's going to do. I'd imagine he'll go Bruno, Joelinton and Anderson just about if Longstaff is slightly off the pace fitness wise. -
Probably not too difficult with a few developers on the job, especially if you're desperate.

I'll be honest I'm already waiting for Burn to look leggy and be fuming we haven't signed a proper LB
