I'd love Adam Johnson. Toon fan as well isn't he?
-
This midfield trio excites me a lot, we'll be dynamic and dominate possession much more if we use all three of them.
-
.co.uk has them

From the highlights he looks like he has a very good footballing brain. Knows what to do as soon as he gets it. The touches and passes he made looked like a player full of confidence and ability. His pace looks frightening as well. Very exciting if he can make a couple of cameos this year. Attitude seems to be spot on as well. His size won't matter if he's good enough.

We'll be really flexible with this lad in the squad. Him and Tioté can form a defensive midfield duo that will be brilliant in some games, whereas he can be allowed to push forward with Cabaye in others. He'll also be good foil for both of them if anyone is missing (Tioté going to ACN etc.). Excellent signing from what people are saying, seems to be a very modern midfielder with several different dimensions to his game.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssss

Why would he go there? Why do they want him?

I love the fact that he's made his debut. Let the hype commence.

How was Adam?

According to Pardew his first name is pronounced "Cech"

Voetbal International saying us and CSKA Moscow are going for Ola Toivonen. No thanks.

Can't see these quotes. Could you post a link or the article itself? Reading that #nufc could sign Vurnon Anita by Friday. He's agent has said, "Definitely a deal can take place in this week,..." "Anita will not extend his contract. He's a player coming from the youth of Ajax. They"re not the best paid players." #nufc http://www.nufcblog.com/2012/08/08/reports-newcastle-will-sign-vurnon-anita-by-end-of-the-week/ Those are the quotes from that Dutch journo on Sky aren't they?

Some Belgian Newcastle fan on Twitter says we had scouts watching Club Brugge the other day, he thinks we're after Odjidja in particular. Defensive midfielder, used to be at Hamburg a few seasons ago, born in 1989.

Routledge was pretty decent at Swansea last season, wasn't he? Having seen both of them at Newcastle I'm pretty sure I'd have Routledge over Obertan.
-
With Marveaux back I don't think we'll miss Obertan. Marv, Hatem, Sammy and Jonas will do the business on the wings, even Ryan Taylor and Shane Ferguson can step in if needed. I'd definately sell him if we can get close to the £3m we paid for him. Hopefully selling him means there is something incoming just round the corner.

Hartlepool United 1 - 5 Newcastle United - 07/08/12 (FT)

Increasingly excited about Marveaux. Seems as if he's been pretty much our best player during pre-season. Even when he came on against Everton on the final day of last season, there were glimpses of his ability that excited me. When he replaced Obertan against Everton (before his injury) I thought he had deserved it. Him, Cabaye and Ben Arfa will be capable of some brilliant passing moves this year. -
He has no clue, couldn't even spell Mbiwa.

10 goals and 5 assist in 26 starts for Werder last season. Not bad that. From what we have seen of him in Sweden, those stats sound made up (i know they're not, that's why he started at the Euro's). Poor attitude, no speed, no strength, not technically gifted. Hopefully him playing in the Premier League means he'll not get games and consequently disappear from our national team.

Marcus Rosenberg has signed for WBA. I genuinley believe that Xisco is a better player. Shocking signing, extreme shitness.
-
I think this one is dead. I reckon we'll go for someone else or a left back instead.
-
He's brilliant. Just too old, i'd be very suprised if we are actually in for him.

The monkey sounds are fucking disturbing.
