Remember when he fought to get Darren Bent in order to play him as a number 10 for the whole summer of 2013? He joined Brighton on loan today.
-
We could win whatever under him, I'd never want him at the club anyway.

I think we are seeing the value of having proper club culture and systems coming to the fore. I'm starting to believe Brendan & Poch benefited from being at clubs with excellent cultures and systems rather than themselves being top or even very good managers. Both their clubs have kicked on. Obviously both better than Pards like. That's a really interesting thought.

Really surprised by this. Thought they looked a team who had bought into a very enthusiastic philosophy. It seemingly didn't matter if Suarez was out when Sturridge was scoring and vice versa. But they thrived off a team full of bravery and attacking intent - everyone bar the CB's joined in. Now they look confused and full of fear. Defence is a shambles. Still think Rodgers is a brilliant manager with all the right ideas. Hope he's given time or a chance to resurrect his reputation elsewhere. British football needs people like him in contrast to the dinosaurs that are usually given the jobs.

This. I feel we're one conceded goal away from imploding all the time. It's like the side that had Perch/Williamson at CB yet kept clean sheets. Opportunistic Pardew football that works for brief periods of time when luck is on his side. It will crash and burn eventually.

Really like Perez. Great movement and technique. Just imagine having someone like Ben Arfa on one side and Cabella on the other. We could have been a joy to watch for a long time.

It's typical Pardew momentum. The wheels will come off shortly, sadly. If they don't, and this is a sign of something different, he would be a good manager, but we know he isn't. We've been here before with him. Just think Rodgers and Pochettino can become available in the next few months and some will still argue we're lucky to have this guy.

This is basically what makes many things with regards to NUFC uninteresting. It all starts and ends with him.

f***ing hell this intense hatred I feel towards him is getting stronger and increasingly boring at the same time.

It's pretty much only Ryder isn't it? I'm surprised they aren't written from right to left as well.
-
Still think Ryder is worse than Pardew in all of this. It's all mostly his fault.

This further decreases my interest. Step by step everything likeable about football seems to be eradicated and replaced by egotistical, greedy, predictable shit. It's a shame because football has so much influence and potential to do good. The fight for human rights could really be a big part of their agenda. Instead they're getting behind regimes inciting the exact opposite. -
Enrique had some incredible performances. Blackburn away in 2010/11 is one of the best I've seen from a full back. Loved Bernard though, him and Robert on the left was so enjoyable to watch.

Strange that, Bellamy was part of a team that challenged for the title and finished top 4 twice, he knows what this club could and should aspire to do. Where Liverpool finish is completley irrelevant.
-
Hughes had lots of good games. Our full back misery was partly down to years of shit managers.
-
Who is though? Ben Arfa.
-
Wasn't Pennant there as well?
-
Think he's alright and will be a good player for us. Not even blessed with half of Ben Arfa's ability though. Which we all know is the important aspect of all this.
-
Wigan home too when he equalised in the last minute! Cardiff is still my favourite. Kept the ball after a shit corner, swung it back out to Ryan Taylor, stormed into the box, murdered it, went mad.
-
Strongly dislike Rob Elliot and have a problem with Steven Taylor and Mike Williamson for their arselicking of Pardew. The rest are fine. Starting to really like Ayoze and Abeid. Krul is the fucking balls for sticking with us for so long despite the shit.
-
There's something Suarez about his playing style. Twisting, turning, keeping close control, good finisher, functional movement but no biting and racism yet. I know the comparison is ridiculous, but he's more of a Suarez type forward than Bellamy.
-
Still typical Pardew momentum this, not sustainable. The younger players look good though, he'll do well to ruin this crop as well.
