That bolded toward the end is big imo. Referees in football need more transparency. They clearly can't be trusted so mic them up, I want to hear their reasoning, their excuses in real time. Drag them up for an interview after the match to explain themselves. If you've reffed a good, even flowing game, then congrats you can throw out some 'it was a good game without many incidents' platitudes. Did you fuck up? Fail to control the game? Well, tell us why, you useless tossbag.

Looks like Shearer loses his record if Haaland sticks around the PL.

Fingers crossed. The pessimist in me says they focus on the West Ham one for an absolute age as one of the featured games, then our 0-0 gets dumped near the end with no time and they won't show a shred of incredulity over it.
-
Bit of a boy, this guy. I love his use of the feet for saves.
-
Wow. Just seen the West Ham one. I wouldn't try to make a determination that either decision is worse than the other; they're both egregious and should be triggering a full-blown investigation in to the refereeing in this league.

Only 3 points from safety with just 32 games to go. You have to ask; is Eddie Howe the man to get us out of this mess?
-
Do other fan bases have this obsession with if a player isn't good enough then it's clearly because he's not putting in the effort? I feel like I see it disproportionately aimed at our inadequate players. I can't think of many times I've watched Murphy and thought he wasn't trying to put a shift in, even if the shift was ultimately shit. I've noticed Wood has had it thrown at him recently too when his biggest plus since arriving has probably been his workrate. Some players just can't make the step up; it doesn't mean they're not trying. And this comes from someone that agrees with not wanting to see him on the pitch for us again if Howe can help it.
-
Even when it went to VAR that was all I was worrying about; if he brings it back for a penalty when obviously I'd rather the already-scored goal. I already distrust refereeing in this league but in no way was I actually expecting us to be held entirely at fault. I've said it enough times before but surely this is the point where the club needs to start pushing for a genuine investigation? It's inexcusable.

Start him.

That's one of the most 'how the ever loving fuck did we not win that' matches I think I've ever seen. Okay. That may be hyperbole but what isn't, is that the Premier League is corrupt.
-
Fucking cunt shoves his opponent in midair in to his own team mate then heads the ball in the net and somehow we're the punished. I'm full conspiracy theorist now. I want formal complaints and lawsuits investigating the refereeing of our matches. Rancid fucks.
-
FUCKING WHAT. FUCKING WHAT. Tell me these cunts aren't corrupt. Tell me.

Is this cunt home yet?

Just don't end up disappointing her on the day like Ando has.
-
Not meaning to pile on but while he's being brought up again, has Ando ever actually given anything of substance outside of early team news? Genuine question; not trying to be a dick.
-
God damnit this is all I was coming in to do.

Not being involved in the final day scramble feels deflating just because I want that excitement but we're clearly happy to spend money when the right player comes along. If they don't come along in the next few hours then so be it. If we were told when we got taken over in October that we'd start the following season less than a year later with six upgrades to our starting eleven, including two England internationals, a Brazil international, one of the most promising young centre backs around and one of the most promising young strikers around I don't think you'd see many complaints. Feel bad for Targett now after I've given that rundown but that says a lot in itself that he's the odd man out and we still (rightly) love the guy.

Seriously though fuck Chelsea. Unbelievable that they get off scot-free on FFP because their owner was too dodgy. I hope the new owner splashes so much cash that it hamstrings them for the next few years to balance it out. Although they'll probably just continue overspending and get a £1m fine or something.

Ban Ando.

It's so OTT I can't even be mad at it.

Let's do it. Cant wait to see how they manage to triple down on an incorrect VAR challenge.
