  1. Been coming back to this on and off for the last few hours and finally got all 10. 8 and 10 causing most of the delay.
  2. You have to question the decision to start Isak after all the fitness rumours.
  3. Oh I'm now all in on this take. Cheers.
  4. I can't deny that I sure do feel uncomfortable at the amount some have revelled in Man U's misery the last few weeks.
  5. They can get these shitehawk talking heads to try and speak it in to existence all they want but if Isak leaves in the next few years it sure as hell won't be to arsenal. He's above them both in ability and cost. Should've taken the punt on him when you had the chance, fuckers.
  6. Fun seeing some of the reactions of Liverpool fans. Anyone would think a player's never signed a pre-contract before. According to some he must be benched or even banished from the squad so as not to derail their season. Fair play to him, one of those offers you can't refuse but while I can't explain why, I just don't think he'll fit in in Madrid.
  7. Given (Roeder) Trippier (Howe) Woodgate (Robson) Schar (Rafa) Enrique (Allardyce) Tiote (McLaren) Lee (Dalglish) Cabaye (Pardew) HBA (Hughton) Robert (Souness) Shearer (Gullit) Supersub: Wilson (Bruce) Manager: King Kev EDIT: What a waste of time trying to format that was.
  8. Really fucking hate them. I really do. All their bellyaching over our 'dark arts' just because we got the better of them across a couple of games before revelling in making it their identity as long as it gets them within crywanking distance of failing another title challenge. All teams do it to a certain extent but their u-turn feels particular egregious (probably only because we were partially involved from my perspective ).
  9. Might be an overreaction because I hate arsenal but there should really be retrospective punishment for shit like that. Writes around in pain with a 'head' injury before miraculously getting up as soon as the referee stops what could've become a dangerous attack (if it wasn't Ipswich attacking).
  10. It's strange as he really sticks in my memory when it comes to NUFC footballers of yesteryear yet Wiki says he managed just 58 appearances in three years. I remember him being injured a lot but could've sworn we got 5 or 6 years from him. Maybe it's just that it coincided with proper formative years for me as a teenager. Would probably be one of my wild card cult favourites but for consistently being a racist prick.
  11. Aye prolly left back in the dressing room!!! Am I right!!!
  12. I'd love to be vindicated in my opinion on that red by any appeal getting time added for frivolity.
  13. Have you never played football, Bones? There was only ever going to be one place his foot ended up to avoid Schar decapitating his penis like the thug he is!
  14. Hey. Tbf we had multiple people saying we looked no different to Bruce after Eddie's first few games. God if we don't succeed on Monday..

    Jacob Murphy

That chances created per 90 is disgusting. I love him. Never a world beater. Hell, no matter how good a shift he'd put in I never wanted him to be a regular starter. The kind of player whose weaknesses shine through from an extended run. But he's sure as hell earned his spot so far this season.
  16. It almost feels like a perfect storm with us figuring things out with Tonali and being able to control games a lot more than we had been. It's like we're seeing what could be with a goalkeeper more composed on the ball, even if all other attributes are worse than Pope's. As you say, the big test comes when we have much bigger questions asked of us by the opposition.
  17. Oh I've now discovered what we've all been missing. Apparently both stamps were the absolute only directions he could've possibly gone to avoid Schar kicking him in the nuts.
  18. Oh yeah. The first thread I passed on the tackle it somehow turned in to a circlejerk about how refs hate Salah.
  19. I think it's the fact that's it's never just people putting their thoughts forward on what he could do better though, is it? Not everyone that questions his decisions is immediately a hater. I personally will continue to defend the argument that I think Hall deserved his chance sooner last season and Tonali should've been given the run he's now had at the start of the season. But that's different to a certain corner of this forum constantly thinking up their latest fan fic about how ruthlessly impatient the board are going to be because he can't take us any further and simply isn't elite, whilst ignoring every mitigating factor as if we're supposed to be a shoo-in for Europe. As an aside, it's also funny that some people (not saying you) still spout the 'he just doesn't learn' argument despite the amount of times people over the past few years have given him credit for doing something they'd previously been calling for.
  20. I know you can find every opinion everywhere online but I can't believe how much of a minority we seem to be in here. Passed a thread on Reddit and there's even NUFC fans in agreement with everyone that it was harsh. Anyone that dares suggest he could've avoided contact is 10s of down votes deep. If people had just watched the one angle from the side I could understand the contention. But that angle from behind is going around just as much and couldn't be plainer as fucking day.
  21. You do have to wonder how he turns things around here. EDIT: Sorry wrong week.
  22. Ugarte looking good though so that's nice.
