Everton weren't on top form, but still deserved to win. Lucky to have such top class defenders keeping us in it and a fairly solid midfield that worked hard and helped. Pure luck. Got to lose the next 3 games at least and order will be restored.

The common view after skimming a forum is the majority slagging off the team and calling them shit without actually bringing Dalglish into the equation at all They're so desperate not to slag him off. Someone actually said "We beat poor teams at home under Rafa. Kenny will learn how to do it eventually" They're spoilt bastards who aren't playing out of their skins for the manager. Throw another £100m at it and they'll be back where they belong in no time.

Everton played better than us whole of 2nd half tbh They hardly puts us under real pressure though, did they? I thought it was an intense 2nd half, but our organisation was top class at the back. I basically gave Everton too much credit in thinking they had to get another goal, before realising as the game went on just how bad their finishing was. But all in all it was a fantastic defensive performance, obviously with a few scares that you're undoubtedly going to get when being dominated for the whole of a second half. As has already been mentioned, if we didn't have Tiote, Cabaye and Marv all out that second half would've gone a lot smoother. Also very impressed that, even though we were pinned back most of the time, we were still able to get in their half and threaten from time to time, even if it wasn't a great threat.

Imagine scraping by with 3 draws, keeping pace and remaining undefeated.

Absolutely loved the condescending tone towards Sian Massey getting the decisions right. Such pointless comments. And surprise surprise, Thompson more interested in getting angry at Liverpool not getting their RIGHTFUL goal and not paying attention to whatever match he's meant to be watching.

Fucking ridiculous. I was still trying to convince myself that my eyes had played tricks on me and that it had gone over. Fantastic strike.

The man is a God.

Can only echo what people have said already in here.

Wasn't great, wasn't terrible. He was just.. there. Fair play, he played his part, but I can't see us surviving too well in future games if we still have Tiote and Cabaye out.

Build up on SSN now, Jonas getting praised for his defensive work, talking him up in regards to the team doing the off the ball dirty work.
-
Nooooo. Don't start the paragraphs again.
-
He better get 2 more, then. Or we've gone backwards. The uncertainty is a shambles, like.

So, basically, we won't really know just how well certain players will work together until we see it attempted in a match. But it'd be a bit harsh to do so whilst we're on such a fantastic run? Sweet.

I can't do it anymore. I remember when this thread used to be fun.

Yeah, they did that little celebration thing after Mehdi's goal against Wigan didn't they? Future Cabaye and Tiote perhaps OMYDAYZ :fwap: Imagine keeping them sweet for long enough that they can come into the team in a few years, together, knowing each other's game, to replace the ageing/sold Cabaye and Tiote. Obviously not going to happen but it's quite a dream.

we're not the manager are we? how many times in how many years have our retarded managers in past done things we don't agree with? im just giving you real possibilties on what may happen. i personally would prefer marveax there. Ah sweet, if we're just going off 'managers make weird decisions sometimes', I'm shooting for Harper to get recalled and he's going to replace Barfa at CB at half time.
-
Is there a particular reason they don't show the whole match on FF? The whole 'affecting stadium attendances' bullshit? Don't see why, if they'll show an hour of a match, they can't just do the other 30 mins. Personally, it'd make me sign back up for the SS package.
-
Fucking Perch as an example. Who else was there on the bench who could 'shore up' the midfield in a safety first swap for Yocabs? How that is in any way comparable to putting Loven on over Marv and Barfa is beyond me.

Tiote picked up more bookings than any Prem player last season and the mags are starting to call him a liability Read more: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=641421&page=3#ixzz1ce44JCtq Can't wait 'till we finally ship him out to those mugs in Manchester. At least we won't lose Guthers through suspension.

Most Everton fans smoke crack. And we've got one as a mod.

I want the mackems, Wigan, Blackburn. Expect the last 2 to be there, but can't see both Norwich and Swansea holding out for the season, as admirably as they may fight.
