  1. There's no point betting if you won't even factor in delivery charges in your winnings. What's the point?
  2. What? You mean you're not getting it delivered? Pathetic peasant. This arrangement is over.
  3. Harsh man, I hope you aren't pissing of balconies tonight. No need, Pinky.
  4. Interesting.. Still don't think I'll back Rosenberg though. Been tempted by what you've said lately, but if I back them this 20 year old will probably have a stormer. Won't mess that up for you, Kaiz.
  5. Neil! I'm liking Filipao's bet to form the basis of a nice little earner. you in!
  6. Completely forgot about the Europa tonight, might have to chuck a few quid on to lose as always.

This. I feel we were majorly spoilt by having Harper and Given for so many years. I'd be surprised if we can pull that off again, which is a shame. Can see one of them going after about a year of those 2 fighting for number 1. Assuming that will be next season.
  9. Absolute fuckwit that guy. Say this everytime one of his rent-a-quotes get mentioned, it baffles me that he doesn't get more shit from all corners for his absolutely ridiculous comments that undermine every club he's chaired from the top down.
  10. Agree with Jonny, I'd say in terms of lasting damage to this club, it has to be Souness.

  12. Taken a stab at Arsenal, Man Utd, West Brom and Birmingham @ 9.02
  13. That last one is perfect.
  14. Watch it, Jonny, you saw how he just shot down Ronaldo in flames. You're next...
  15. I'm not sure about the logic that breaking off negotiations and putting someone on the transfer list without telling them is "doing everything to keep him". They still haven't even got round to putting in the paperwork. http://www.givemefootball.com/pfa-transfer-list You'd almost think the transfer list announcement was done purely as a point scoring exercise. When you think about how secretly the club tries to do business these days, isn't it strange how easily some information leaks out? As you say the club does try and keep a lid on its business but is still quite capable of playing out a PR war through the media. I would say though that in this case Taylor (and/or his father) have certainly competed in that war. Now what I can't remember is whether the club or Alf Taylor actually started it.....anyone? I wouldn't place too much credence in that transfer list website btw - there's only two players on there who are on sale for a fee. The rest are free transfers, juniors and possible loan signings. I had a quick flick through and I hardly found a player on there who is currently with a Premier League club, but I may have carried out got a duff sample! Also apart from the odd one like Aliadiere they certainly aren't names anyone will have heard of. I will bet my house that there are players who will change hands in January who aren't on that website... I only recently found out there's actually a transfer list that players can be submitted to. I always just considered it a phrase to say that the player's available. Which I think it is these days, would be highly surprised if clubs actually used a list like that to advertise their players' availability.
  16. God bless Ethi, man. Always brightens our day.
  17. Funnily enough, zero interest is what makes me bet. Gives me something to be interested in for the night.
  18. If I can build up my 70p with safe live betting in the next couple of hours, I might chuck a couple of quid on things tonight.
  19. Here we go. So who's doing our transfers now? You realise we don't have a 'Director of Football' anymore, right? An agency I reckon. Probably the one which was in charge of transfers in Summer 09. Just because there's no Director of Football on the books doesn't mean we don't pay someone to do that job. If it hadn't been for the announcement of his appointment it's not as if you would have known about Denis Wise from his constant talking to the press and appearances at all the youth and reserve games is it? Or do you reckon Ashley has given newbie manager Hughton more power than he was willing to give to Keegan? Very much doubt it myself. You mention Wise's appointment being reported about, and that's the only reason we know about it. You really think the sort of system you mention would be kept under wraps for this long?
  20. It's monthly now, just searched it up to see if it's still going. They've got Drogba front page, and I think there's a free edition online
