  1. To be honest I can't complain about Ashley right now, apart from the much-gone-over Sports Direct signs. I'm not going to complain that he 'doesn't look like he wants to be there'. Don't see how we can truly gauge that. He stays in the background, isn't that what an owner/chairman should be doing? He's done a lot of things that can't be brushed under the carpet, don't get me wrong. But right now, he's what's best for us. Upheaval and another new owner, no matter how good they may turn out to be, isn't best for the club right now.

    Sunderland...

I wanna hit that 'My Boy Harry' fucker. Scum of the highest on there. Completely brushes aside mentions of charity donations, won't settle until HE has his 42 quid back. Has to be a good WUM surely?
  3. In all fairness, when it comes to the media, I don't think it will be long and we will hear more good things about us than bad. Once they've tried their hand to destabilise everything, and realise it won't work, they'll give up and jump on board with 'fantastic Newcastle, overcome adversity, gained their self-respect back, we backed them all along bla bla bla'.
  4. He was talking about how wonderful Carroll was when he was here...so why did he never get near the starting XI? Yes he was young, but don't go on like you were the one who found him Why shouldn't he? He did find him. Sam Allardyce is football. Carroll? That was him. Ameobi? Him. Shearer, him. Also paved the way for Pele don't you know.
  5. I really do miss NE5 in a sadistic little way. Can't we just like unban him once a month, let him make an appearance for old time's sake?
  6. Unbelievable, they're determined to rock the fucking boat. Screw them, don't give kind of shit the time of day.

    Sunderland...

She probably knows fuck all anyway, probably just one of those women that hears other deluded fans' views and when asked she recites them like she actually knows what she's talking about.

    Ryan Taylor

It's a shame, he's good at his set pieces, but just not worth the spot for that. Barton seems to have come into his own on the corners, free kicks obviously will never reach the heights of Taylor's, but that's not enough for me.

brrrrap?? Almost as good as that 'you got murked' catchphrase in that World Cup pranks show a few years back
  10. I don't get the argument that a few places doesn't make any difference. Who is a player going to sign for? A team that's just slogged to 17th and just saved their PL status, or a team up at around 12th/13th, who have a couple of good players and they feel they can help them kick on into the top half of the table? It means you've had a relatively simple season, not mind-blowing, but no worries. Better players are going to come to you in the hope they can help you kick on and push for the next echelon of the Premiership. I'd be happy with mid-table, anywhere above around 15th. As long as we're not biting our nails on the last day. Still saying I wouldn't take 17th, and I havn't said any different all season.
  11. Someone else mentioned somewhere I think, was fun on the day and everything, but I get the feeling he's a right insufferable little shite in everyday life.

Are the Gods smiling down on us or what!?

  14. I think I'm actually going to start calling them The Twin Towers now Immense.
  15. Excuse my ignorance, I don't keep up with Spanish football very much at all. Why do Barca want him so bad anyway? For the amount you'd be paying for him, where would he fit in your team?
  16. He always does, doesn't he?
  17. I love that we're getting worried about Enrique's form when he plays well, and not out of this world. Good sign!
  18. trying to cheer him up, he looked ready to off himself at the start of the show Would've made for much more entertaining television than the tripe they've served up (barring our goals )
  19. Unreal, I didn't see Cuntermole do that. How he's managed to be captain of a club is beyond me, I'd say that's their biggest problem right now to be honest. What club is going to perform with a player like Cattermole 'leading' them?

    Titus Bramble

All the pain he's caused us in the past, forgiven. Titus Bramble, the man, the legend.
  21. Good. If they lose him, they really are in trouble, can't see him staying past this season.
