Sam on the bung again. Massive loyalty bonus for Smith as well. The more I've thought about this signing the happier I've become with it. He's a good pro, versatile, good record with injuries (other than the horror leg-break), hard worker and he's a decent enough player. Not spectacular but hopefully there'll be others coming in to compensate for that.

Hasn't he already ruled him out and given reasons which would make him look like a complete spastic if we did end up signing him? Wouldn't be the first time someone's gone completely against something they've blurted out to the press. Arjen Robben's agentDad came out with a spectular denial over a rumour he was off to Chelsea then he wound up there about a week later, think he actually said "over my dead body will he sign for Chelsea, he's going to Manchester" . That said, I don't expect it to be him.

Looks like he is off given that it is one of those typical 'BBC understands' articles that always come true. Don't take this the wrong way but you're talking out of your arsehole. How can you possibly take a snippet like that and take it as gospel? Exactly.
