  1. I’d also prefer him at rwb but I think starting with 3 cb’s creates a similar risk tbh. One gets injured and we’re knackered there. None of this is ideal but you simply cannot keep playing Tino and Hall week in, week out and not give them time for proper recovery. I don’t have access to the data and maybe I’m being too risk averse but it feels to me like we’re still sitting at the poker table at 6am when everyone’s been telling you the lucky streak will run out since 4am. At some point, they’ll be right, and the drop off from them two to their replacements (even if they were fit) is now massive. We were DESPERATE for them both to be back, and now they are, we’re riding the fuck out of them both.
  2. I didn’t criticise Howe. It was an observation about something that’s an issue for him, Bunce, the coaches, tactical staff and medical teams. There was therefore no direct criticism of Howe so no need for you to ‘jump in with a defence’. It’s a very valid area of concern and one that I’d have hoped they’d have been proactive/creative about. I think you’re being overly sensitive and lumping this into the ‘everyone’s criticising poor old Eddie’ pile when that’s not the case at all. I’ve been staunch in my defence and support of Howe for years. Maybe you’d prefer we just kept on playing players until they break. Murphy isn’t a defender but he’s very capable of playing there for a couple of games as a short term, preventative measure, and that’s what I would have done. He's done it before under Howe in game. Was even an emergency left back a few weeks ago to see a game out. Is that ok? Am I allowed to hold that view or is that also ‘jibes for the sake of it’?
  3. Concerns around injury management isn’t ’jibes for the sake of it’. I’ll leave it there seeing as you’re so thin skinned. Just a timely reminder as to why this place is an occasional lurk these days and not somewhere to post as much.
  4. I didn’t say they were.
  5. The big point of difference between him and Murphy, for me, is that he’s sooooooo poor when we don’t have possession. Annoys the fuck of me that he’s the quickest player on the park but fucking ambles towards opposition players when they have possession. He literally defends with zero intention of actually winning the ball. Just saunters up to them and does a half arsed jockey. Murphy, for all of his limitations, at least tries to turn the ball over.
  6. Nowt to do with things not going well. It’s purely around squad management. I’d have said the same a fortnight ago. Re the last point, it’s hardly unforeseeable that one or the other breaks down. Then what’s the answer? Perhaps it might require some out of the box thinking. Perhaps we should be doing that anyway. You know fucking proactively rather than waiting for the inevitable injury or pure lack of form. I’d have rested players in Germany personally. You seem awfully defensive….maybe the derby result didn’t upset you but it’s not hard to see why people might be pissed off in general.
  7. I’d have probably given Murphy a game or two at RB to manage Tino’s load. Now there’s no option for Hall rotation but there has been up to yesterday. what would you do if they both had an injury reoccurrence tomorrow? Just field 9 men in the next game?
  8. If we aren’t planning on taking advantage of our Saudi relationship for this sort of mistake then we never will. Ship him off to the desert.
  9. At least Thiaw is fully fit. Tino came back after a long lay off and hasn’t had a rest for ages. It’s massively high risk injury management imho. Could say similar for Lewis Hall. If either one of them breaks down again, we are fucked.
  10. I’d take £25m now for him and write him off as a terrible mistake tbh. And, even at that price, I don’t see a queue of buyers. Not only is he fucking dreadful, he’s not even what we needed. Our winger department needs a total overhaul imho.
  11. We won’t get that for him off anyone. No chance.
  12. ‘Focused and prepared as well as they can. Not a lack of effort. Felt the guys that come off the bench did well and added a different dimension. That the effort and endeavour was there’. I just can’t get on board with any of those views tbh. Just call it what it is. We were fucking awful and he got everything wrong. From team selection to the system to the prep. Everything wrong.
  13. I don’t agree on the ‘no credit in the bank’ line but there’s no question yesterday was absolutely terrible and his comms after it also did not capture the mood music very well imho. I also wonder how they’re feeling today and whether they ‘get’ the magnitude of it. Gut feel is that some of them don’t give a shit.

Yep. Presumably they’re building him up slowly behind the scenes. Hope someone asks the question of Howe soon.

    Jacob Ramsey

Would love to know what’s happening with this lad. He was the summer signing I was most excited about. Couldn’t wait to see him ‘Howe’d’. Joe Willock coming on instead of him is as bizarre as it’s concerning imho.
  16. Over the last few years, I’ve tried really hard not to steam into individuals in the way I would have before. Been so much more patient. Tried my best not to ‘call out’ poor performers and preached patience to other fans as best I can but honestly this cunt can fuck right off. He’s a fucking waste of space. I’d drive him back to Nottingham today for whatever they’d give us. He’s an utter liability. He's a sprinter, not a footballer and he’ll never be one as long as I’ve got a hole in my arse. Their needs to be some serious post mortem done into this purchase because this cunt is Howe’s Jordan Ibe moment reincarnated.
  17. Woke up this morning just as pissed off as yesterday. That was a fucking disgusting performance. It’s gonna take a fucking long time for me to recover any form of affection for some of them cunts after it.

That’s why I said we need to change the system.
