Remind me @Optimistic Nut, what's the tracker tracking? To finish above last years finish or for typical European Q points total?
  3. Bit like a barber claiming he's done 1000+ haircuts, doesn't mean he's any more Vidal Fucking Sassoon than John 'the ear slicer' from Shields.
  4. I don't think Beardsley is in the debate tbh (incidentally, my favourite all time NUFC player, a long long way ahead of Shearer) but Bruno has already shown he's a better all round player than Bobby Lee for me. I don't need two more years to reach that conclusion. His potential is scary too given his age. Zero doubt he's a player who could/should be playing for one of the top 3/4/5 clubs in the world and he's a seismic step up from anything else in our squad including the other current internationals.
  5. Baldwards throwing out the Rafa chat again to get those clicks up. Prick. He'll be gutted one of his only sources has gone, the absolute pest.
  6. I had ST's during the KK reign and SBR reign. I watched Rob Lee etc home and away. Bruno is, imho, better than Lee and is firmly on track to be our best ever midfielder. As for the Cabaye comparison, forget it. He's already wayyyyy beyond cabaye levels.
  7. Would love to know who this was.
  8. Ironic really when the baldy bellend had spent the previous six months slating Staveley, slating the possibility of it happening and also defending his pal to the hilt. Life comes at you fast eh?
  9. Ah man. He was on a brace earlier this season and Pep hooked him bang early and I was raging. As it turns out, completely pointless because he'll probably have it in by Xmas.
  10. Skybet had a pre-season special on him scoring 5 or more hatricks all season. 80/1. Gutted I only put a fiver on it
  11. Getting an opinion on this from Alex Bruce is a bit like asking Ian Huntley for a steer on babysitting work tbh. As for Edwards, that prick has made a total mockery of himself since pre-takeover. Hope the cunt gets sacked on the same day as Bruce.
  12. He's a right slimy cunt for this. Always creates a misleading narrative to divert/deflect from the actual issue which is his gross incompetence. In fact, I think preparing a misleading narrative is the only preperation the cunt does for any job he's in. When he's binned here, surely that's got to be it for him?
  13. Something's awry with Wilder imho. Gibson is one of the best chairman in football to work for and Wilder has been constantly linked with moves away. It appears that Gibson has binned him before he got the move he's been after all along. A weird one all round. Wonder who Boro bring in? Surely not the Bruceosaurus when WBA imminently bin him?
  14. Fulham could be in a world of pain if Mitro's out for a while.

    João Pedro

Presumably not for anywhere near the fee quoted a few weeks ago now that he's signed a new deal. Can only assume there's a high/higher release clause in place now.

    Alexander Isak

Is there anyone on here who saw him play regularly in spain? I've got a question about him.

    Mikel Merino

I went to the Nou Camp years ago as I was desperate for my kids to see Messi play live in his pomp and the match happened to be against Sociedad. Illarramendi was fucking insane. Absolutely incredible. As was Messi, obviously but the man from Sociedad blew me away.
  18. Rafa’s fault tbh. Bloody Messiah that he is.
  19. Yep. Or, in a weird way, a huge backhanded compliment that they're doing their job's unbelievably well.
  20. Really interesting test of their model this. I was told they always have a plan in place for replacing their key positions. See David Weir coming in 'ready made' to replace Ashworth. Be very interesting to see who they bring in for the Potter replacement. Wouldn't be surprised if its someone who's 'up and coming' or a bit from left field as they probably monitor coaches globally as part of their model.
  21. Great window - absolutely delighted with the direction of the club.
  22. If we get Isak AND Pedro, what does that do to our squad numbers? We must have to shift loads to get it under the 25 limit surely?
