  1. Agreed. I’d happily ship all four of them tbh. Elanga first on the list.

That was a GK error. He cannot press. He’s as slow as fuck. Haven’t you realised how much more time opposition centre halves have on the ball this season?

Yep. Shat himself entering the stadium and remained soiled all fucking day. Soft as fuck I’m afraid. Too many weak characters and he’s one of them.
  4. Don’t care if they win 35-0 this Wednesday this won’t be forgotten for a long time. Fucking woeful. Sackless cunts.
  5. I love him. Gave me my best ever day as a NUFC fan. But…………..that was wholly unacceptable today and his words post match weren’t much better. I’m absolutely fuming. If starting Elanga wasn’t bad enough, looking at the bench and opting for Joe pissing Willock blows my fucking mind. His lowest moment for me today. Appalling. Shameful. Disgraceful.

Clearly demonstrated his technical ability since his arrival but he needs to find a nasty streak and bulk up if he’s going to succeed in the PL long term. Soft as fuck and too slow to play as a lone 9 imho. Cannot press effectively. Hes done well, really well, at times but he’s a sticky plaster for me. A temporary fix. This shit isn’t working more often than not. Change the system to suit him because what we’re asking him to do is simply not sustainable. He looked completely lost and overwhelmed today. Like we sent a kid to do a man’s job.
  7. Fucking useless cunt. Shouldn’t have been anywhere near the starting 11 today. Awful footballer.

    Yoane Wissa

Do fancy him to get the winner on Sunday though.

    Yoane Wissa

Can’t see it. He’ll be on after 60 odd minutes imho.

    Malick Thiaw

His worst half for us first half tonight. Thankfully seemed to regain his composure for the second half but not in a hurry to see first half Malick again anytime soon.
  11. Bloke just invites problems from set pieces with him being constantly wedded to his line. Has zero presence.
  12. Could do a lot worse than Grimaldo whose contract is up in 18 months. Hes 30 but would be a great rotation option with Hall for a few years.
  13. I'm a huge fan of Howe. With that said, I think his in game management for the last two matches has been really poor. There's huge context needed, more widely, for the start to this season though; - The Isak stuff, none of it of Eddie's choosing. - The 'replacement' mess. Felt like we were bidding on every decent european striker under the age of 24 at one point. - The signing of Woltemade. He's completely different to any forward we've ever had. Eddie's ever had. We'll have to fundamentally change the way we approach games and the final third functions to accomodate him. - Eddie's had barely any time on the grass with him, Ramsey or Elanga. It's literally, league game, CL game, league game Carabao game, league game, CL game. AND, when we get a decent break (international) everyone fucks off around the world. Coming back either injured or knackered. - Injuries. Particularly to Wissa, Hall and Tino. - Director of Football/lack of a coherent strategy. Missing out on Trafford, Pedro and the various others has almost certainly hamstrung him to some extent too. How many of these guys were his actual first choice? Not Ramsdale (Trafford), Elanga (Mbeumo), Wolte (Ekitike) afaik. When you think of his overall time at NUFC, it's been nothing but pressure; - Saves us from relegation. Massive pressure along the way. - Can we make CL football? - Can our squad cope with CL football? - Tonali stuff - Ashworth leaving - Staveley and Ghoudossi leaving. - Mitchell coming in - Eales leaving - Fucking Pneumonia! - Back to work early to help us push for the CL again - Isak - Two new bosses now in the CEO and DOF All the while winning us our first cup and achieving the CL twice. The guy has been nothing short of a miracle worker so any short term issues need to be viewed through the prism of nobody else being able to achieve what he's done with us. And I say that thinking he's made more errors this season than in any other. If ever there was a time for patience, context and trust.......
  14. I really liked the look of Benfica yesterday, thought they could count themselves unlucky to have lost it.
  15. No - it makes perfect sense. I’ve noticed the same. Our shape out of possession is slightly different too now. We seem to leave someone closer to Wolt than we would have previously when the last bloke played for us. Can’t remember his name.
  16. He’d be great in the Bundesliga. We’d definitely need a buyback or a heavy sell on.

I’m so pleased he got that goal against Wolves. It’s not his fault we’ve lobbed him in the deep end because of the Wissa injury. I’d imagine everyone would have preferred to ease him in gently and off the back of plenty of time on the training pitch. Both system wise and also fitness wise. The pressure on these big money forwards must be enormous the longer it goes without goals. Penny for Sesko’s thoughts about now…. Momentum is massive for these guys and that early goal will have done the lad wonders in terms of buying time and patience. Cannot wait to see what he looks like in 18 months after spending that time developing his game with Eddie and the coaches. The one downside of CL football is the lack of preparation time the coaches get due to game load so we’ll have to build the airport whilst flying with him. Wissa takes the pressure off that massively.

    Jacob Ramsey

Them two coming back in massively strengthens us. Buys us time to integrate Wolt properly rather than us all having to learn on the job how he plays and fits. He’ll be incredible in 18 months but Wissa takes the edge of him having to be ‘ready’ now. That header vs Wolves was massive.

    Jacob Ramsey

I think Howe and Bunce have probably rolled the dice thinking they’re smart enough to manage his availability. I hope they can because he could be brilliant as you say. I think he’ll be immense once he’s up and running.

    Jacob Ramsey

Gutted he’s picked up this injury. Massive shame for him and us. Given his history, we’ll need to reintegrate him carefully. He’s the summer signing I was really excited to see, particularly against the likes of Bradford to get him some momentum here.
  21. Am I missing something or does £15m seem very cheap for him?
  22. Really useful as it looks like our net spend this summer (presuming the rat goes for circa £130m and we buy Wissa or someone else for £45m) will level out at just over £90m. We could near enough clear that with a strong CL campaign by the looks of it.
