I love the ambition and hope what Bruno is saying is what the owners and manager will aim for. I've not read/heard about it before so had to ask. Think it maybe a bit too ambitious due to the quality of the top teams but no harm in trying!

I agree that it's better it goes to the footballers than anyone else, but at the same time I don't think what they produce is worth what they are getting back, if that makes sense? Ideally I'd like football to be de-funded, to make it cheaper for fans to watch live and on TV, and top flight football to be controlled by respective domestic FA's so everything is scaled back a notch with more focus on the sporting side rather than the entertainment/commercial side. I think that would go a long way in solving many of the problems with the game today.

Yes, that's correct, but similarly to the general population, the difference between the richest and poorest is only increasing making it harder and harder for the smaller clubs to compete, and there is nothing to suggest that this will stop anytime soon.

Spot on. Diving/cheating, club ownerships, prices for fans, over paid primadonnas, VAR and refereeing standard, corrupt officials and institutions, late schedule changes, corrupt/predatory/greedy agents etc all of it can be traced back to this.

Doesn't even have to be players from the continent. Brennan Johnson f.ex is doing really well for Forest this season. Would prefer we tried to develop him into a star here rather than opting for proven mediocrity.

It wasn't even a 6 month spell It was like 8 or 9 games, and he faded a lot at the end of his loan. We should get a young talented player in to compete with Fraser and ASM. Murphy and Almiron are ok as 4th and 5th choice unless we can move them on.

Straight out hate aside (assuming there is a lot of it on twitter), I don't feel it's too much to ask that he passes the ball more often and get up from his ass instead of sitting down and shouting to the ref while opposing team is counter attacking X times a game. I was hoping for less hoofing with the midfield Howe put out yesterday. We controlled large parts of the game, but it was very much side ways passes at the back for a long period followed by a hoof towards Wood who was not able to keep possession.

Deep down I don't think Everton ever could get relegated with that squad. This game will have shown their players the effort they need to put in to win and I think it'll be a turn in their performances this. Gut wrenching that it had to be against us, 11v10 just the icing on the cake. I was happy with the fight we showed in the first half. Not so much in the second. Everton wanted it more than us today.
