Good team, and good to have options in ASM & Bruno to change the game if needed.
-
Was a nice goal. Well played by Leicester.

@SiLvORStay away from the telly please

Never too late to do the right thing.

I think they've played a back 4 the last few games with Lamptey, Veltman, Dunk & Cucurella.

I don't know much about Flick, but can you really say any ot the others are world class? Van Gaal and Mancini only went into international management again after failing at club level. Deschamps did well at Monaco, but did nothing spectacular at Juve with a superior team in lower leagues. He failed at Marseille. Enrique failed at Roma but got results with the best team in the world. They may be better than Southgate, but I wouldn't consider them a class above him.

International management doesn't seem very sought after these days. What world class managers are there managing one right now? Southgate is of a very high standard compared to his peers imo.

It's not really worth posting or commenting on. Howe is not going anywhere.

It's not really fair to criticize Everton fans for blaming Rafa if they go down. They follow their club closer than we do. Remember the flak we got for outing Sam Allardyce? He had 7 wins, 5 draws and 9 losses (26 points in 21 matches) in the league but we all knew where we were headed if we hadn't sacked him. Keegan came in and didn't record a win in his 8 first matches (2 draws, 6 losses). Lampard got his first league win in his 3rd match. If we had gone down with Keegan that year, I guarantee you the majority of fans would have had one guy to blame, and it ain't Kevin Keegan

Forest is my go to team for random 90's players when testing my friend's capability of remembering every single PL players birth year. Don't forget Andrea Silenzi!

I don't really get it. What gets them thinking that the problem is the squad when they were 5th or 6th before Bruce took charge? Did they sell a few key players in January?
-
Fell asleep some time after 64th minute before their first goal Funny news to wake up to though.
-
Ah the classic "only one player presses the ball at a time" instruction.
-
If he has said anything negative about HBA he deserves to be labeled an ignorant cunt and a shit manager tbh.
-
It's about time we get some youth into the squad. We brought in the experience in January, let's go for the exciting prospects in the summer to complement them.
-
Looking forward to hate watching the game this evening.
-
Sure you can, especially if you only have the league to worry about. Different story if you've got one or two domestic cups + European competition to think about as well though.
-
This isn't the first time ASM has gone back to France for treatment. I'm sure if you scroll back in this thread you'll find similar quotes to your own from people speculating about falling outs with Bruce. I think ASM just likes to get home from time to time, and is killing two birds with one stone by getting quality treatment at the same time.

They'll struggle more and more generating enough income to sustain their purchasing power and player wages as the new loan rules come more and more into play as well imo.
-
If he starts, players in front of him needs to work on anticipating passes this coming week. He played some lovely balls into space, but players in front of him didn't react until the ball was played.

Such a beastly beast of a beastman, but a kind, beautiful beast.

Thought Shelvey played well today so wouldn't be surprised if Bruno starts on the bench again against Brighton, but it's clear as day that of the current midfield 3, if one of them is to be sacrificed, it's Shelvey.
-
No way we go down. We're picking up wins even with Wilson, Trippier & ASM injured. Changed from 2 to 1.

Pure speculation on my end, but for me he showed that he could identify what needed improvement after the first game. Although the changes weren't as radical as people on here wanted, I think he probably knew more changes were needed early on, but sacrificed it not to upset things too much.
