Understandable that he insisted on a release clause, and that he wanted to play regularly. I wish Benitez would have played him more despite the form Shelvey and Diame was in. It's a bit hypocritical since I haven't really been that fussed about Bruno not getting much game time due to an unexpectedly good midfield trio, but I guess the difference is when Merino was here, we had no chance on getting someone better in. If Bruno had gone into a hissy fit during this period and wanted out I believe we are now capable of getting someone equal or better in to replace him.

We need to ask the club to post a video of a 100m dash to get to the bottom of this. This mystique of who is quick, slow, has pace and/or accelleration in an atheltic or mobile way and how you define each aspect of it in order to conclude where on the spectrum Bruno find himself is killing me.

Grealish is not getting flogged like. Nobody would pay what Man City would be asking, and nobody would pay Grealish what he would be asking.

It's always like this for a few matches until he picks up form and all is temporarily forgotten. I agree he is frustrating af, like when he got surrounded by three players on the break where he could have made an easy pass to Bruno, straight in front of him, but decided to go for glory. He had 3-4 of those situations last game as well. Hard to tell if it's because he wants to take them on, or if he just doesnt look up so he knows where his options are.
