First time I've ever responded to a tweet. That guy is a fucking moron. Fuming

    Sunderland

I don't think it was over demanding of them to expect promotion last season, and they have had a terrible start this season so can understand the decision. Number of losses is irrelevant, it's total points that matter. Weird statistic to bring up.
  3. Found a more suitable forum for you Nodrog, unfortunately the atmosphere isn't much better there either: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.sportsdirect.com
  4. Do you think Atsu would have had the awareness to do what Almiron did for yesterday's goal out of interest? It would have been launched first time and the goal doesn't happen. I'm more confident that Atsu wouldn't have thrown himself to the ground as Almiron did than that he couldn't have done what Almiron did before the goal yesterday. If you need a straight yes or no answer though, it would be no. I don't really care what a player manages to bring to the team by cheating. So sick of it and I've got no respect for that attitude. I'd rather see us fielding a worse team if it meant we didn't cheat. Not difficult in these times where a loss is celebrated more than a win, but still. I hope and think that mindset will continue even if we by some miracle should start to compete to be the best we can be.
  5. Atsu has zero goals and two assists in the 6 games he's been involved without diving while Almiron has zero goals and assists in 8 games, plus 2 yellow cards for shameless diving. Atsu for me like.
  6. Yes, I'd rather have Atsu on under the circumstances although I would prefer if Almiron was punished and learnt not to dive anymore but that won't happen because diving is accepted and football isn't a contact sport anymore. Atsu has had more end product than Almiron since he was signed anyway so it's not that outlandish is it even though you lose a bit of graft and pace on the field.
  7. It is that he dives, and that he's shit at it. Embarrasing. Wish players would get retrospective bans for that kind of stuff. Say 5 games suspension or so. That would make them think twice before throwing their own dignity out of the window.
  8. Dubravka? Don't think Slovakia is part of the Balkans?
  9. Starting to get a dislike for this tiny churro. Dives all the time like a cunt and is absolutely useless in front of goal. He'll warrant a place in the team on the same premise as Sissoko did.
  10. Very impressed. Happy for him and his family.
  11. Got a text from my mate before our match started with pictures of another friend of mine entering the field at Emirates in full Arsenal kit. Not sure whether to laugh or cry.
  12. This fucking club Happy for Shortstaff. What a moment for him. Looking back at it years from now, nobody will care/remember much about the situation both clubs were in.
  13. They are just the same. Old has beens that relies on individual quality of players and team spirit to achieve mediocracy. The moment anything is needed from themselves it all comes crashing down. They don't understand the modern game, don't try to evolve and do the stuff that they learnt/saw their managers do as players. Personally I hope it continues. We can't risk a new manager that might rescue us to maintain the status quo. We need to go down with Bruce, and hopefully he gets the opportunity to try and take us back up as he hasn't got what it takes to do so imo.
  14. You saying Mane was fouled just because there was minor friction between their socks?
  15. That's not a kick Klopp hugging the cheating cunt. I just get so disheartned when players like that, that has the ability to win without cheating just throws any integrity out of the window. Wish he get's a career ending injury.
  16. Not a penalty at all btw. Cheeky cunt Mane making a meal out of contact.
  17. They'd be mad to sack him. Looks more like a player problem than a manager problem.
  18. Just when you think his presence can't get any more ironic and comical
  19. Ah, also known as the desperate Sunderland method right before their plight. Can only be a good sign.
  20. I don't really care as long as Ashley is gone. New owners might be shit, but their shitness will result in a quicker and easier resale down the line if things don't work out. If things do work out then all is fine and dandy so a win-win situation compared to how it is now.
  21. This. I'm convinced that the season of preparation in the championship, sticking to a certain game plan and focussing on organisation and shape was the foundation for the good first season back in the premier league although he in theory could have played more attacking and gotten more high scoring results with the squad that was at his disposal.
  22. Cabaye who wasn't the most athletic and mobile? Don't think it was meant as in that Longstaff was or is particularly athletic and mobile. Watch "Sean Longstaff | Season Review 18/19" and the clips 01:05 - 01:21 for examples of what I meant with his awareness and elegantly making space for himself to release the ball forward. Watch the entire video actually. Can't believe it's the same player we are seeing this season.
