Probably intended to replace Sissoko so we can continue to play a pacy CM at RM if/when we sell.

You can see Dummet paid close attention as a youngster when they learnt to trap and pass. It´s like he reads from a book in his head every time he does it. "How was this again..? hm..Trap..catch the ball soft so it doesn´t ricochet away from me...GOOD! Done! Now...blasted, could swear I did this two days ago. hmm. ah yes! PASS! Let´s see, arms out, with the inside of the foot to the nearest player...excellent. Until next time! )

We are experts in creating memorable moments for our opposing fans.

Barry must be the only player in the PL that Colback can take on in a "sprint".
-
Dummett is Andrew Griffin on sleeping pills.

Anyone turning their nose up at the prospect of having Shelvey here is mental. Exactly what we need, would walk right into the team and should probably be made captain as well. Still young, so consistency could still improve. Never going to happen though.

Should try the Keegan tactic with: De Jong as Owen Mirtovic as Viduka Perez as Martins. Sissoko as Geremi Tiote as Butt Winjaldum as Barton Janmaat as Beye Mbemba as Faye Lascelles/Taylor as Taylor Mbabu as Enrique Elliot as Harper

Really, man? I´ve watched worse this season

It's been done to death on here, but I have to say, Mauro Severino is an excellent footballer name. I know we have failed on this before, thinking "oh with that name he has to turn out good" (Zamblera, Spear, Vuckic, Ranger, Danquah etc), but let's hope this one is the real deal and is signed up!

I saw him play one ball forward in the first half, and started to laugh. Desperately need him to be replaced in January.

Stats from whoscored. His distribution is poor, simple as that but I suppose the one or two good throws he does blinds people to that. Krul @ 55.6% this season and Elliot against Norwich was down to 35.7%. I don't really know how people define bad kicking, which has been a very popular critisism of our goalies for as long as I can remember. Surely, unless its short passing to the backline, a lot of the success rate of a goal kick is based on the effectiveness of the outfield players contesting and trapping the ball since there will always be time for the opponent to position themselves to where the ball is dropping? Either way, I think the reason why Kruls average this season is so high compared to Elliots against Norwich is that he played a lot more direct and long, while Krul more often than not have played the ball to one of the fullbacks of Colo. Whether thats due to tactics or not is hard to say.

Didn't get to see much of the first half yesterday with it only being on in the background. In the second half, which I saw every minute of, I couldn't find one good contribution from him. He uses an awful long time on the ball, and often pretends that he is about to pass the ball forward, only for the outcome to be negative in either losing the ball or playing it backwards.

I really want to see what can be built around Mbemba, Janmaat, Winjaldum, Perez and Mitrovic, which won't happen if we get relegated. On the other hand, nothing will be built around those players if we stay up. Ashley might sell if we go down, but most likely not. Sell all sellable assets, muster a team good enough for direct promotion like last time, and start fresh in the PL again would most likely be the outcome. So...guess the answer is blank. I don't really care what happens.

This was the round that I stopped playing this ruthless crap game.

I quite liked Cack Jogback. Somebody called him it in the match thread That's actually really funny

It always amazes me how so many people can see what is generally the better line up, yet so many managers we´ve had the last decade doesn´t. It so painfully obvious that we would be way better off with Gini moved further back in place of either Colback or Anita (Colback gets my vote for the bench or reserve squad), and De Jong or Perez in the hole.

Payet in my ff team.
-
Feel sorry for Perez

Hope to god that Tottenham keeps a clean sheet tomorrow. 30 points with Dier, Vertonghen and Payet to play.
