Hell of an improvement in the 2nd half, we were still lucky not to lose it and somehow also unlucky not to win.

Or alternatively, a number of Rangers players transfer to clubs throughout the SPL and clubs who previously wouldn't have bothered with even moderate investments, knowing that they couldn't match the Old Firm, realise that there's a Champion's League spot up for grabs for once making the entire league more competitive. Sure Celtic might win it for the next 5 years in a row, but who can say what will happen if clubs like Aberdeen or Motherwell get a few £million to invest from Euro competitions that they wouldn't have previously had a chance at?

Really? All evidence presented thus far suggests he doesn't I'm not sure if the voices in his head count as a conscience.

The number of abysmal decisions that have gone Chelsea's way in the last 3 games is unreal. I still don't get why Cech wasn't sent off today, just because the ref played on and Spurs scored I don't see why the ref didn't either book him or send him off after the goal went in. He still committed the offence.

Add in what we'd get for ticket sales too. If we were to average 40,000 attendances for the 3rd qualifying game + 3 group stages that would be an extra £1m per game on top of the above. The money from attendances alone would cover the wages of 2 or 3 players for the whole season.

I didn't boo and I didn't really notice anyone around me who did but I fully understand the frustrations of those who did. How else are people supposed to express their annoyance at the team's performance? Write a tersely-worded letter of complaint to the club? Polite applause, a shrug and better luck next time boys, maybe then you won't piss away a 2 goal lead against relegation candidates? We were abysmal in the 2nd half on Saturday and if a section of the crowd booed then so what? They didn't deserve applause.

Lazy, complacent bullshit

Reminds me of Gullit's time here, fans of other teams probably thought similarly about us when he was in charge. He's inherited players that he doesn't want, a number of whom form a core of players within the squad and who are apparently quite vocal about the manager's choices, he wants to get rid of a few of these players but they're fan's favourites and their sale would be blocked by the owner. Whilst there's some money available it's nowhere near the amount that previous managers had to spend and he's limited in the positions he can try to strengthen by having to deal with the fans and owners desires to keep certain players in the team. I didn't agree with Gullit's choices when he was here but I do agree with a number of AVB's choices about Chelsea, but if I were a Chelsea fan I'd probably think exactly the opposite.
