Yeah, Liverpool could finish the season strongly but they’d need the form of the 4 teams above them to absolutely collapse.
-
Plus we have a game in hand

Has any Prem team lost consecutive home games 1-5?

Burn vs Brentford?
-
If the one Burn conceded (Brentford I think) is a pen I can’t see how that isn’t.

Lens are second in the league mind and a win would take them within three points

We’ll make a few tactical adjustments soon I think

I get there is an English Premium but without trying to sound too Brexity there is nothing like having a good core of English players in the team. Even better if a few of them are local and fans. It’s a prestige thing and I do think it helps with the connection to the fans. I would hate to end up like Wolves with like only 2 first team squad players. Plus it allows me to be more invested in England games.

I think momentum is a funny thing, we are like a runaway freight train over recent games but the Bruno red, Pope Red, the West Ham and Bournemouth draws completely took the wind out of our sails. -

I hope that includes Crypto shite as I can see that filling the void otherwise.

Is it not more that he’s just sick of barely playing at all?
-
My main memory is Almiron beasting him off the ball just before his howitzer in the home game this season. That said my Everton neighbour rates him.
-
Loan with option but no obligation to buy at the terms we’d previously agreed. I’d take that if the club rates him so highly. Failing at the most toxic superclub outside of Chelsea doesn’t mean you are crap.

Gallagher and Mount to Liverpool could be like when they let go Salah and De Bruyne, I don’t think they’ll be at the same elite level but they could both be very good under the right manager. Shades of PSG selling their young local talent to bring in exorbitantly expensive mercenaries. Yeah PSG are a super club now but is anyone there really happy with where the project is?
-
It’s part of the reason Messi and co get booed. The local fans are sick of seeing top Parisian talent leave and prosper elsewhere like Nkunku and Diaby.
-
Wasn’t he signed on a weird loan with obligation to buy? So they are going to sign him and straight away sell at a loss. Funny how the we want to build a team of French players project has lasted less than one season. Joke club.

made comments about not being confident in the footballing project iirc

Aston Villa vs. Newcastle United: 15/04/23 @ 12:30 (BT Sport)

I was at Villa Park when we went down so I carry tiny bit of resentment towards Villa after that day although that was mainly exorcised with the 6 goals we put past them at SJP after we came back up. Other than that no beef with them at all, historic club doing well, hopefully we can both really put the squeeze on Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool over the next few seasons.
