Not sure if this negates the UEFA FFP which is separate and more restrictive than the PL one. You could take the points hit but you may end up banned from Europe in the longer term.

Yeah, it’s amazing how false narratives can affect things. Like the Arsenal game, they just assumed we were the same Uber-shithouses we were last season, when that’s not really been us this season. The game went the way it did as they felt the need to play that way when they probably didn’t. Let folk think we are Atletico Tyneside and we will rip them to shreds.

I think it was more of an issue as they consistently did it all afternoon, not just the Sterling/James ones on MOTD -

I mean it was obvious that they were getting someone sent off from about 60 mins onwards, so much petulance towards the ref. The Chelsea comments I’ve seen on it don’t seem to aggrieved, most are just saying ‘well at least he can’t get injured next game’
