Even if he just brings some decent hold up play and running he will be very useful. So many games during that December period we played well but just had no outlet once Isak and Gordon were gassed.

I think Almiron is pretty settled here, despite the language barrier. Given his options are probably live in the desert or some middling La Liga side he’s probably happy to see out his deal.

Wharton just a poor man’s Rory Finneran

Yeah think this could be the one -
Think they want rid of his wages more than anything

Luuk de Jong. Literally can’t remember a single thing he did. -
Bring him home

Reads like just a regurgitation of the Liverpool stories they already have on file.

My working theory is that Eddie wants the England job alongside the Newcastle one and he’s trying assemble his international squad here.

And they will revert to Antonio as they always do

Nketiah, Greenwood and Moukoko is an interesting and potentially decent strike force.

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

Well he’s played for Howe before so less adjust time needed -
Heaton Stan beating Easington in the FA cup. Great crowd if fucking random weather. Pitch looks 100x better than last season.

Roque is a massive Bruno fan isn’t he?

Shades of the Isak transfer in terms of it coming completely out of the blue after weeks of us allegedly pursuing another player (Joao Pedro/Thiaw). Hopefully can be tied up as quickly as that was - from story breaking to completion was really quick wasn’t it?

He’s very well thought of but how many of the big six have a vacancy at CB or a situation where he’d be an immediate starter. His stock post Euros will never be higher when you combine with his age profile and contract situation there could be a bit of a perfect storm for us.

Like Romano I think he gets information direct from the club. Ornstein seems to be more trusted these days as just tweets the basic facts and doesn’t lickspittle the same way Romano does (“such and such player only wants Barca”).

Because there is actual expectation now. Plus more people care again in general and negative takes garner more interaction.

Honestly no need to be on Twitter these days. Anything relevant will get posted in here. The whole platform is designed to promote division and negativity and that was the way even before the man child Musk took it over.

At worst it means we won’t be bringing Ben Parkinson on in the middle of an injury crisis. At best he could be a real player. Seems a smart enough move at the price.

Dovbyk to Roma for €30m. They seem to sign more strikers than West Ham do. Thought there might have been more competition for him esp at that price.

Seems cheap for Olmo that
