He also needs pace in order to do that. If this ball-playing CM can double as a time machine, fair enough.

How many 19 year olds play Premiership football? The answer is not many on a regular basis. Because football demands a high level of positional intelligence, and not too many 19 or 20 year olds have that. There are sports which require far more stamina than football in which athletes at that age thrive.

'Through balls.' You talk about him as if he's Higuain, man. He wouldn't know what to do with a through ball. He probably thinks it's something you do to a lassie after a night oot on the p*ss in Glasgee.

Most males are still growing at 19 and still have to build up stamina. That's why sportsmen don't usually peak at 19. A 19-year-old professional footballer should have plenty of stamina, man.

You're like a sillier version of Alan Shearer. Not to mention the fact that Bent scored a perfectly legitemate goal.
-
You'd think he'd been sent off in the first minute. The fact a interview has been translated this week shouldn't change the fact he's allowed to have an off day. But it has, clearly.
-
So that means he can't be criticised? Of course he's been one of our best players, but he was bloody atrocious today. People are just saying it like it is. Calling him a c*** and saying he let us down? Give over, man. You've got more between your ears that that. Aye, that's well out of order that. And he isn't?

Another mistake by Pardew, basically. This is unfortuantely what happens with managerial changes - over-hyped shite like Taylor get an extension on borrowed time, and failed experiments get retried . We've just got to hope he learns this lesson. I'm sure he will.

who is hanging him out to dry? he's set himself up for a fall. How? by making stupid comments in the press. If those comments had been released before the Wolves game, you wouldn't be coming out with all this guff. Hush. but they weren't, and that is what is important. had they came out then and he put in a big performance, then he'd get away with the comments. the extra pressure and scrutiny from not only fans and press but other players only comes into effect once they're made public. pretty simple stuff to understand for most people. You complete tool. always know when you're stumped when you don't even bother posting a proper reply. The fact you've just admitted to having a go at the lad because of journalistic timing says it all, man. Complete joker.

Some of us have an ounce of conviction behind what we post.

Most 19 year olds lack stamina. Even for you, man.

I'll look forward to you slagging one of your favourites for 'letting us down' when they have a one-off bad game. Pathetic.
-
Alongside Bramble he was wrongly absolved of any blame, and his age always counted in his favour. 5 years later he hasn't improved one bit as a footballer and as an athlete he's gone backwards. I hope we sell him.

He's been our best player this season alongside Coloccini. I'd call that backing it up. Maybe our best player but he's not the "best midfielder in England" he's been very good but was dreadful for the 3 years prior to this season, not to mention spending some of that time in jail ffs. His history of behaving like a complete scumbag means that people will jump all over him when he comes out with this kind of nonsense & it's something he's only brought on himself. He just needs to shut his mouth and play. You actually can't grasp the concept that he was interviewed weeks ago, can you?

Says you, after turning on Barton for a single poor performance after a season of quality. Taylor's served up shite for years. Folk have every right to criticize.

Let us right down? Fickle or thick - take your pick.
