  1. Given is good but not great. Massive improvement on that joker, though.
  2. At least Arsene Wenger (and I hate myself for saying this) is trying to remould English football and prove that you don't need 6'3null thugs to win (even though he hasn't really proven it). The commentator said during the last Arsenal game something I agreed with: Would Jack Whilshire have been given the chance to develop if he wasn't at Arsenal? Would his size have been held against him? Arsenal the team might do better without Wenger, but Wenger's impact on the Premier League has been huge. Helped the influx of foreign stars to come in, which in turn helped change the pub culture that English players had towards a more healthy lifestyle. While he might not have won anything for a while, you can't deny he's helped sell the belief that the English Premier League is one of the best and most exciting leagues in the World through Arsenal's ventures in Europe. Sometimes I can't tell if you're being serious, or just bored sitting in your room and go out to wind people up with your short, 'insightful' replies. Sometimes I start to reply to your posts, then just go 'Why bother' and see a whole host of invisible suddenly appear! That's very interesting, and I'm sure you put a lot of thought and effort into your long post. It doesn't address my comments at all, though. Wenger is a stubborn and petty man and it's holding Arsenal back. He's being paid to deliver success, he isn't doing it.
  3. Yeah, look at what they've achieved in the last 6 years, nowt. Arsenal can do better than Wenger.
  4. Only Mourinho could have a team full of superstars struggling to score against Levante. Absolute wankstain with a horrible brand of football.
  5. Forget world class. Mark Schwarzer would be a vast improvement.
  6. Wenger's becoming an absolute parody.

    Ben Tozer

    Not a chance in hell.
  8. Colo has looked strong in the air for a long time now.

    Shola Ameobi

Yes, because Campbell is a more experienced defender. How on earth is that relevant in this thread?

    Shola Ameobi

Shola should be the nowhere near the starting Xl. He's a step ahead of the likes of Lovenkrands, but that doesn't make him worthy of a place in the first Xl. It's mental that people want to change a team that won at Everton, based on a daft League Cup tie.
  11. I don't think the lad's ready. He does the easy things well, looks the part and seems to communicate with his defenders. But he's just so raw, man. I'd personally partner Colo with Campbell on sun. His experience in front of a keeper severely lacking in judgement could just about see us through it.
  12. Followed the last 15 on my blackberry on a bus from New York to New Jersey. The updates were great, lads! You're the best at what you do.

    Titus Bramble

You should be banned for such rubbish.
  14. He can't even strike a football properly. He's a good option from the bench but as a starter he just isn't the answer.
  15. Graham Taylor is excellent, as was David Pleat commentating on the our game with Villa. He knew everything about every player on the pitch, especially ours. I was stunned. Shearer's about as good a pundit as he was a manager.
  16. I think he'd get goals, always liked him. Since before that great season at Parma, in fact.
  17. Have you seen much of our reserves this season? No. How much of Norwich did you see last season? If they were genuinely better than Norwich City, i don't believe for one second that we wouldn't have seen a good few of them make some impact on the first team last season.

    Dan Gosling

There's only one midfielder we should be getting rid of in January.
  19. That's up there with whoever told me i was stupid for wanting Malouda here, because he'd be shit, apparently.
  20. Our reserve team are better than the best team in League One. If you really believe that, you're just completely deluded, or simply out of touch with the modern game. We all saw what happened when a combination of reserve team and first team squad players met a pretty average League Two side last month. The Norwich City of last season would eat our reserves for breakfast.
