  1. rumour's being doing the rounds for the last 3 hours up here
  2. Ribery or Benezema doing the job Ronaldo did the year before last? Don't make me laugh mate Their back 5 is all about Rio Ferdinand for me, and injuries are starting to have their say
  3. I still get angry when I think about the Celtic pre-season game in which Luque scored twice. The fucking bastards on the radio spent all game having a go at him and not one other player despite the fact he'd scored twice.
  4. He's never felt like an nufc player. Even when a group of us professed our undying love for him during a drunken night in East London during December 2005
  5. He can't be replaced because he was their best player? Can't agree with that to be honest. I never said that. I said he couldn't be replaced The reason being, there is nobody in the world they could acquire with anywhere near Ronaldo's effectiveness There certainly is but that player is quite frankly unbuyable. you must have missed the part in bold
  6. Rooney will do well and so will Man U, I just cant see them winning the league The game against Villa in April is a case in point, they were absolutely shit that day and so was Ronaldo, yet two moments of magic from him allowed them to win 3-2. They wont be winning those games next season
  7. Never had such hatred for a football player. I don't care if he doesn't beat his wife in public and speaks nicely to reporters, he's the biggest twat i've ever had the misfortune to watch at SJP
  8. He can't be replaced because he was their best player? Can't agree with that to be honest. I never said that. I said he couldn't be replaced The reason being, there is nobody in the world they could acquire with anywhere near Ronaldo's effectiveness
  9. Selling Ronaldo changes everything, he was their best player and one that cant really be replaced
  10. I honestly believe both Chelsea and Liverpool (if Torres and Gerrard play 30 games together) will reach the 90 point mark next season. If Man U want to equal what they achieved last season they're going to have to find a player who score and create a combined 35 in the league, not mention a replacement for Tevez's industry. Tough, tough task, even for the best.
  11. Man U have got an awful lot of work to do in order to win the league again. They're going to need to bring in 3 players from outside england to fill the gap they now have in their squad. Will feguson get those signings right? Will those players immediately adapt to the premiership? Doubtful, for both. Chelsea or Liverpool's year for me
  12. Luis Fabiano, what a guy
  13. Harper Beye Taylor Bassong Enrique Taylor Guthrie Barton Duff Martins Carroll
  14. Shepherd had nowt to do with Cacapa to be fair
  15. A man should be judged by his actions, not his manners or demeanor. He's a gutless little fuck
  16. aye, that's what I saw t'other day, really let himself go the daft fucker
  17. Edgar wouldn't last 5 minutes against the physicality of the championship man, no point in keeping him

What did he say about Ashley?
  19. It's not based on what he says though. We know for a fact that Souness wanted Anelka and Boa Morte, Souness practically baited Anelka as best as he could through the media. It was also clear that Souness favoured the 4-3-3 system, and wanted Anelka/Morte for that system. As for the Owen bid, that was clearly entirely Shepherd, and I can't see it being any other way. He wanted a big name, big money, long term replacement for Shearer, he wanted the best England had to offer, so he went for Rooney first and foremost, and when that failed, he used the same funds a year later to sign Owen. Souness by that time had been told Anelka was a no-go as Fenerbahce had rejected our no-doubt derisory bid. It was compeltely obvious at the time what happened here without any need for Souness' eventual confirmation of the undermining that occurred. In the press conference Souness said, very smugly, 'when I walked into the Chairmans office and handed him a piece of paper with Michael Owen written on he nearly fell off his seat, but we've done it & got him, and I'm absolutely delighted. Only a few players in the world could replace Shearer and he's one of them'. Granted he might just be saying that, but it hardly looked like he was saying it through gritted teeth. Dont get me wrong I am suspicious about the Boa Morte/Anelka deals and why they didnt happen, what was Shepherd doing etc. Although I agree with Shepherd that everyone was chuffed when we signed him, we had already bought midfielders aswell to supply him. Fair play mate. I'd forgotten Souness said that, lying prick
